We had Christmas Day lunch here on a couple of occasions about 5 years ago and we were very impressed.
The whole atmosphere of the hotel was impressive; it gave the impression of being a well-run, warm and welcoming family hotel. The food was superb; very tasty and flavoursome, and well-presented too.
It’s a great pity that circumstances since have prevented us from having Christmas lunch there again, but if you get the opportunity to eat there at Christmas or at any other time, my advice would be to take it: I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
