Hotel Italia, Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt, Munich

Recommendable for short stays such as short trips. You won't waste any time because the hotel is only a few minutes away from the the train station and you are fast in the old city. The rooms are appropriate equipped and very tidy. The area is not the best but OK.

The hotel “Italia” is cheap 3-star-hotel that is in a directly closeness to the train station. Who is not disturbed by the street environment can stay for good value. My room was small but clean and the purpose appropriate. And there was a minibar. By the way you can also have a free WLAN connection when you ask at the reception about the WLAN-Key.

A convenient hotel located very near the train station and the Karlsplatz. Unfortunately the reception and the room were were smoky. Breakfast was alright and the choice copious (different breads and bread rolls, toaster, spread, cold cuts, jams etc). The area is typical train station but not dangerous. It's OK for a short city tour or for an overnight stay but not necessarily recommendable to feel comfortable or for a longer stay.

Perfectly satisfactory 3-star hotel near the main train station. I found the room to be clean and comfortable, although fairly small. When I first walked in the room, it smelled like stinky cleaning products, but after a couple minutes with the window open, it was fine.

I enjoyed having wireless internet in the room and breakfast included in the price. My main complaint is the orange drink from their beverage dispenser they try to pass off as orange juice. They had the same brand at the Hotel Mark and it just tastes chalky and disgusting.
