Olde England Fisheries

On the 15th of August i and my girlfriend visited the olde Englend fisheries, to be totally shocked at the service we were given.

The service given was at a poor standard, to start with in the resturant there were cleaning materiels around the resturant, mop and bucket left lying across a table, cleaning fluid on top a table, this all while customers were eating, food was left on the floor and was even past by staff at least two times while i was eating.

Service was poor, there staff customer service was very poor, no manners, and hygiene of one member of staff had me feeling sick, as i placed an order the member of staff had very dirty nails and were very exposed to the public. Not good.

When i placed the order, i asked for drinks, my girlfriend had a tea for one and i had a can of lemonade, but what followed next was it was served with a polystrene cup, which should never be served in a resturant. When paying resturant prices and sitting for my meal, a glass would of been the right way to serve the drink.

I have and will be advising my friends not to eat at this resturant, and also will be reporting this to trading standards and food hygiene.

this resturant is unhygenic i no i used to work there they leave there raw fish out all night and i have on quite a few ocassions seen them drop food on the floor and then still serve it to the customer

i worked at this resturant and i can assure you the serive is very good and i can deffinatly say the pepole who work there are nice polite people and certainly do not sware ar customers they have immaculate customer service as i should know having worked there the place is spotless and the food is very nice! and if you were not preparted to pay the price listed on the menu for your child then you shouldnt have orderd it regardless of th age of the child my opinion is u had a bad experience but this resturant is not a bad one and i have been told by many customers that it is excellent service and a nice atmosphere to eat great food in!

IF EVER A FISHERIES DESERVED A MINUS A GILLION FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ATTITUDE PROBLEMS THIS ONE WOULD WIN. I visited this establishment in October 2008 and will never ever ever visit the place again. They insisted on charging a full amount for a 2year olds meal, the food was awfull and the service diabolical and rude, had I not had the child with me It would of got very heated as when i said forgetb the order after the womans rudeness when i asked if they had childrens facilities she swore.
