Too touristy. It all felt a bit fake. Good for photos though
It is a very nice place to visit on a Saturday or Sunday.
There are artist painting landscapes or portraits (ie. you can get your own portrait painted there).
Also, you can enjoy yourself with Tango. Bands playing live and professional couples dancing.
Regarding food, you can have some standing meals or get into one of the many restaurants in the area.
It is a good postcard of Buenos Aires.

Recuerdo ese paseo. Fue el año pasado con el colegio. Estuvo muy bueno. Pude ver cosas que ni me imaginaba. Lo que mas me gusto fueron los cuadros y la gente bailando por la calle asi como si nada. jaja. M e gusto mucho

Head to the Bombonera if you’re a football fan for a tour (if you’re not luck enough to get to a match) before heading round the corner for a great wander round the colourful houses synonymous with Buenos Aires.
As the other poster says - beware, this is a notorious robbery spot for tourists. Stick to the main areas and trust your instincts and you should be OK - I’ve been here a couple of times and was fine.

This is more of a neibourhood than a single tourist place its bright its cheerful its full of dog walkers who dont know how to pick up after the dogs the streets have artists but further back the streets are a bit dirty
It is also where Boca Juniors play A very famous football club and you can get your tickets at the stadium on the day of the match, It seats 57,000 which is 5,000 more than Newcastle United this is one of the things I didnt have time to do when I was there. This place does have a great macdonalds next to it though worth a look but keep to the tourist parts

This is one of those places you are bound to end up visiting if you are in Buenos Aires for any more than a day. It really is unlike anything else you will see in Buenos Aires. Where else can you meet 3 Maradonna look alikes in a short space of time! Seriously though - it is worth a look around. There are a number of restaurants where you can sit and watch the tango dancing put on for tourists. As well as the usual tourist shops there are often market stalls selling jewellery etc etc. The pictures you’ll take will look great. A word of warning though - be very careful if you are here at night time. I wouldn’t wander around here in the dark, get a taxi straight there and straight back.
