I cannot agree more. The owner of the pub seemed like a nice guy and this place was okay for food quality and quantity wise BUT the staff in the restaurant do not have any sense of serving customers! When I raised a complaint againt the staff about her attitude, I was shouted back by the staff! It was by far the worst restaurant experiecne ever, hopefully it remains like that until I die. No desire to go back there again.

The atmosphere wasn't that great and there is a limited choice of alc beverages, no cocktails, no J2O, no WKD, etc.
Had a couple of beers and ordered the food which is quite tiny portions for the prices charged at a minimum of £7.50 per 'side plate'.
Pad thai I was shocked as it was basically sweet and sour sauce all over which I don't really like so not that authentic in the end, if you know your stuff. Frozen meat used as it was tasteless.
We ordered 2 plates which came out correct and a further 2 plates of food emphasising the noodles be without any pork, made sure the waiter put the correct order through the till. Food came and had pork in it and we had it thinking it was chicken but when we realised, we were quite upset as it goes against our religious beliefs and the manager only aggravated the situation when we tried to explain, by accepting it is his staff's fault but he wouldn't do anything about it, not even gracefully offering the dish's monetary value as a goodwill gesture. In fact, he looked genuinely ignorant of the whole situation that befell us.
So, customer service is absolutely pitiful and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with dietery requirements, especially we are not overly fussy and were very polite despite our misadventure there. Really needs to attend a good management skills programme.
Great Thai food in the area. Been coming here for years. Never had a bad meal. Need to book for Saturday nights.....

Above average quality food, let down by inattentive staff, and generally poor service.
Average sized portions of quite rich Thai food which is significantly marked up even for the area.
The landlord of the pub is a friendly guy who always makes you feel welcome, but unfortunately this isn't reflected in the rest of the staff. I was once told to go and queue at the bar mid-meal to get a refill because the waitress was "too busy".
If they were to improve the staff, and portion sizes overnight, then they'd be a big hit, but unfortunately it doesn't look likely!

great place to drink and eat, especially in the summer. The old interior as gone and has ben replaced with a sleeker refined interior, a cross between a wine bar, pub and restaurant

A great local pub, with friendly staff and a lovely, relaxed enclosed beer garden, perfect for hot summer afternoons! Child-friendly too, with space for them to play while adults can have a relaxed drink or meal. The bar menu is good value and delicious, but for a more substantial meal, the restaurant is superb. Authentic Thai cuisine, in a more formal restaurant setting, although there is a lovely deck for Al Fresco dining also. With traditional Thai decor and attentive staff, the Norbiton & Dragon makes an excellent choice for a quick drink after work, a lunch time bite, or full dining experience.

This is our office’s local, and it is a bit of a surprise to find such a relaxing, nice, modernised pub in this stretch off the London Road. It’s actually part of a chain of pubs serving Thai food alongside a selection of beers, wines and spirits. The vibe is South-East Asia meets Ye Olde English Pub – English pub food is served during the day at the bar, alongside some nicely selected Asian treats. There is only Asian food at night and in the restaurant. There’s also a take-away menu.
I particularly enjoy the curved Victorian frontage of the Norbiton & Dragon, which relates inside to a curved bar. I like the contemporary feel; there are lots of nice comfortable armchairs and sofas to settle into with a drink.
Outside, the pub has lots of space in a garden – very nice for summer evenings. Food is Thai/Chinese; all the Thai classics are cooked perfectly well; a Thai food afficionado in our party proclaimed her choice authentic. Service can be slow (eaten here twice and the kitchen is very slow, even on non-busy evenings) - as well as sometimes confused front of house, but always amiable.
