Good food, nice atmosphere. Great music on wednesday nights. A generally good night, and a great start to the weekend!

One of the most exclusive clubs in London, but definitely worth the hassle once you get in. The parties here are always awesome, loads of celebrities come to party here all the time, just a great place go and go nuts and dress up!

Word of advice: get a table or you’ll be standing up most of the night!

I have been going to Movida since it opened.
Located just behind Oxford/Regent St it is popular with people from inside london and out. A regular haunt of the celebs too.
The club gets busy but never feels over-crowded although the crowd does vary from night to night. Mid week is a good time to visit Movida with a more relaxed atmosphere wheras Saturday the crowd tends to be younger and alot less dressed. I have noticed a sudden influx of eastern europeans frequenting this club especially on a wednesday.Always a fun night, dancing on the chairs and waving champagne in the air like you just dont care is definitely the way forward in Movida. The resturant is actually very good here.Movida offers the perfect package for a night out.

Movida, or Mo*vida, as the sign says is an enigma...here is what you get: a younger crowd, somewhat mixed but the club has sections - hip/hop urban guys hang out in the way back, the VIP has older men and young Essex-type women (think Girls Aloud), and the rest of the place is packed with "bridge & tunnel" essex dressed guys & girls. The crowd is kind of like China White from a few years ago, only a notch or two lower.

The layout is weird an uninspiring - be careful when you walk into the toilets has there is an unneccessary step down that many people trip on. Lines are long to get in, and doorstaff are exceptionally rude.

When you get down the steps, you enter an multiple arches cavern type room that lacks soul - sparsely populated tables where dinner was served earlier...and a long bar that has no vibe. Then you enter the main dance floor area past the coat room and there is this void of black dancefloor that is part transitway, part loitering area...there is a thin crowded & narrow corridor where the bar is, and couches where the VIP section is...tables at the back./ Very poorly laid out...there is also a super-VIP private room with its own music that is never really that great.

All this being said, if you have a few drinks, you can have fun. And the music is fantastic - great DJs. Essentially, this is a meat market and makes no apologies for what it is...
