I am glad you are taking them to court. The thing that bothers me the most is that why keep a top of the range wheel balancing machine and then not use it properly, they diddnt check anything properly, diddnt rotate tyre to match up high spot and low spots on tyre, tyre pressure, and basics of wheel balancing. honestly pissed me off. tried to act smart at one point and took me in to show me ooo high spot on one tyre. Good luck and I guess its just part of lessons learned in life.

I went down early Sunday morning to get a new tyre for my daughters car. I also asked if they could check the other tyres. I was told I needed 2 tyres. This is the first time I've used premier tyres and I was very pleased with the service that I got. The girl at the desk was helpful and the job was done within half an hour. Prices are reasonable too. I'll definitely be using their services again. Thanks to all the staff

I have been a customer here a large number of times over the years for tyre repairs/replacements, mechanical repairs, balancing and the car wash and everytime i visit, i recieve excellent service. the place can be very busy at times so sometimes you need to queue or return later... is that not a good sign!?!? i take it as a very promising sign that the staff do great work, in a timely and expert manner in such a small place and always at an affordable price! I will remain a returning customer here for many years to come!! Keep up the good work guys!!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC service from everyone at Premier Tyres, the guys on the forecourt and the receptionist everyone very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with my son's Clio in that the key for the locking wheel nut was bit bashed and wouldn't remove the locking nuts, he had a flat tyre and we couldn't get the wheel off. I was told by Parks that it was impossible to order up a new key for the wheel locking nuts but that they could book the car in to the garage to have the locking nut drilled off and a new set put on at a cost of between £60- £100 and taking approximately 1-2 hours. I got in touch with the lovely guys at Premier who told me to bring the car over and they would have a look. Within minutes they had the locking nut off, the tyre off and away to be repaired. While waiting on the tyre being repaired the big tattooed brute (who is actually a very pleasant big marshmallow) had the other three lockiing nuts off and replaced with ordinary ones. They tyre was repaired and then replaced - a rim fault which cost all of £7.50. The whole thing was completed in less than fifteen minutes. No charge for removing the locking nuts and replacing them with ordinary ones and £7.50 to repair the tyre. Would definately recommend them to anyone, in fact I already have. Thanks guys, you are true gentlemen and the banter was an added bonus.

Had a problem with my XK8 the steering wheel juddering between 55-70 MPH, I had just had new tyres fitted and the wheels balanced along with the wheel alignment (both were done elsewhere). Read about the road force balancing, but was concerned on reading one or two reviews of this garage (I work in the auto industry), however went down and got all 4 wheels road force balanced. Firstly I got to see the results for each wheel while it was being balanced and any problems with the wheels and rims were pointed out during the test, including the fact that previous balancers had left the old balances on and just added new ones... there must have ben around 40 off them on one rim .. anyway, they could not be more helpful and the juddering on my car has completely gone .. I run three cars and in future will get the tyres done here .. superb service and would recommend to anyone who has a wheel balance issue .. worth getting the road force balance done.

Had two Tyres and two track rod ends fitted and my tracking done,feel big difference with my car now, excellent service,staff were great had a good chat with the girl behind the counter. PS had a read at your previous reviews I see that the guy IATM has not answered the other guy kevinavis question so I think what the owner has said might be write ! Keep up the good service guys

This is categorically one of the worst garages I have been to in my life and I have been to almost all of them in Glasgow/Ayrshire area including main dealers. I went to this place purely on the basis that they had the hunter road force balancing machine which was a complete waste of time not because its not a good machine but because the staff just don’t seem to know how to use it.
I went into get my cars wheels balanced as there was a miniscule vibration at 80 which didn’t bother me that much at all tbh and might even have been my imagination however I was travel to London twice that week with family and really wanted the car flawless, baring in mind this is a flagship Audi A8. Firstly it took them 2 hours to attend to me, don’t bother me too much as long as the work was done correctly. They started to take my wheels off and wouldn’t let me watch them working and escorted me out; two reasons why I wanted to watch is because I’m a car enthusiast and secondly I know exactly how it should be done. It was done incorrectly over the space of 90 minutes but I thought these guys do it day in day out they must know how to do it right? WRONG! Got in the car, everything seemed fine up to 30mph; after 30mpg, omg vibrations throughout the car couldn’t even drive over 70mph without my jaw shattering to pieces. I was furious to say the least. Got to London and went to a tyre specialist which was recommended on some forums in essex. Made my way there and they told me the whole thing was a joke and must have seen me coming, one wheel wasn’t even balanced at all (which I noticed myself as the weights were not changed but charged me for the pleasure at 15 pounds). My wheels were all sorted and back to perfect all at the price of 28 pounds by the guys in essex. These people with so called knowledge in Premier Tyre services charged me 65 quid for screwing up my wheels and ruining my journey to London.
Before going to this garage I went on over 10 forums to find out what people knew of the place and its reputation, no one knew nothing about them which should have ringed alarm bells however I thought I should support local businesses and give them a chance. What a waste of my time and money. Contacted the owner as they are so adamant showing on their reviews about caring for customers; and have ignored me for over 3 months.

I have not spoke to you or had any dealings with you please feel free to come in and we will try and sort it out.I am the only owner so I don’t know who you thought you spoke to. Your time waiting to be served I find hard to believe, although being a very busy company customer have to wait sometimes,but never 2 hours and certainly never 90 minutes to balance 4 wheels, you also mention the clowns charging you £65. My staff are not clowns and it would have been £60 for your 4 wheels balanced on the specialist Hunter wheel balance,my staff are trained by hunter technicians before being allowed near this very expensive machine. Health & safety does not allow any customers near the machinery in the work shop. That is why you where not able to stand at the balance machine and we certainly never take 3 months to deal with any complaints. I have always used premier the staff are always friendly and the prices charged are very good im sorry to see this slur against Premier.But after reading you review i believe that you IATM must be a professional moaner i wouldnt have waited till i got to london to sort it and you must have been doing more than 30mph on leaving premier so why not take it straight back ???.when i got my car MOT’d the staff went out of there way and at no extra cost to myself to put my exhaust problem right and i have never had to go back to them

Haha, I find it amazing how ever since I have written my review there has beena flurry of excellent raving reviews out the fantastic amazing work these people do as if they are car garage angels dropped right out of heaven.
If the owner put this much effort into resolving peoples issues, training staff in customer services and technical know how the place really would be amazing. However instead there is a massive effort on covering up honest reviews with fabricated generic reviews (people are not stupid) please continue as you wish, i have stopped notifications of this website.

Kevinavis, thanks for your comment,when we first read this comment from IATM,I emailed him and also called and spoke to the gentleman regarding his complaint and also had the technician from the Hunter Road force wheel balancing call and speak to him, The hunter technician will be in premier tomorrow I have tried to call and arrange with IATM on numerous occasion and emailed him to come to the work to have a full refund and his wheels balanced free of charge by the Hunter road force technician But he has not replied and he isn’t answering his phone, so we are now starting to wonder if this is a legitimate complaint .

Just had 4 new tyres replaced on my car, being a mother of 2 kids i always trust the service that this company provide, have been to a couple of other dealers in Hamilton but i always end up back here as the staff are so friendly and price is always so reasonable. Can never fault the girl Natalie in the office or Stevie who normally does my tyres for me as they are always friendly, rather shocked at some of the comments on this page to be honest as i have never had a problem at all, i will always use this company for my tyres and anything else car related as i have had nothing but a brilliant service all round.

Premier tyres came to the rescue today, I was a damsel in distress! They could not have been nicer – replaced my flat tyre and then checked over a couple of other problems with the vehicle. All done very swiftly, at a reasonable price and with a smile.

FANTASTIC SERVICE! The guys are great, very helpful! I went to them on recommendation from a friend and I was very impressed with the service and prices. They are by far the cheapest and best quality I have had. Will use them again and will be recommeding them to my friends and family!

DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE............Got a tyre fitted before xmas and the chap snapped one of my wheel nuts in the process. Told me to get a new nut and bring it back and he would fix it (drill it out). Took it back twice, and they were too busy. On the 3rd visit was asked to bring it back in the morning and leave it with them. Did that and when I returned 4 hours later to pick up my car it was still on the ramp. The chap then advised me that he couldn't drill it out and that I needed a new Wheel hub complete with drive flanch and ABS sensor intact and he would give me a good deal to fit it. He also advised me that I needed 2 new track rod ends. Stupidly ordered the hub from the internet which came a few days later......at a price. Went to another garage to fit the hub due to lack of confidence with this garage and guess what.................The other garage drilled the nut................no problem. Phoned up Premier Tyre Services to complain to the Manager and got nowhere.........Lesson learned......DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE.

This company is so friendly.
Called in for a puncture repair, was done in no time at all and at a good price.
Banter with staff about Man United as we were from Manchester area. Tire bay was cllean and tidy.
Thanks lads and i did manage to get the Scottish 5.00 note change in England :)

Open seven days a week, Premier Tyres is a busy and popular place to get tyres fixed, changed and cars washed. Prices are very competitive though fitters and car washers are kept busy. Customer service is good though they don’t have huge premises and it doesn’t take long for queues to form. Usually this is for those waiting for the car washing service. This is one business worth queuing for.
