Olleys is fab. The decor is claustrophobic-kitsch, just like being at the seaside. The owner is a slightly bonkers bloke who will chat to you when it's not too busy. There are so many choices of fish from classic cod to mahi-mahi, and you can choose whether to have it fried, grilled, or steamed. They also do some tapas. The highlight of Olleys is the gorgeous tartare sauce which they make themselves. It might be useful to know that there is a veggie option, a red pepper and wild mushroom filo parcel thing which a certain vegetarian has said was decent, and much better than having just mushy peas and chips as he normally would.

This place has the look and feel of traditional fish restaurant. My boys love it but to be honest I can take it or leave it. Everything is done really well, the service is spot on and they do take their fish and chips very seriously! This is the place to go if you fancy yourself as a bit of a connoisseur!
