  hi everybody i have dealt with both owners as i have 3 dogs from casmac the first with the old owners was a westie who after i got him went down with westie jaw a very very painful condition he was only 16 weeks old poor little might was in so much pain he couldn't eat or drink the vet said it would be best to put him down he made sound like there was no other choice at the time i was with the PDSA so when i went back expecting him to be put down i was crying as you can understand westie jaw is were the platelets ect haven't knitted right the vet called his name it was a different vet she helped me in to the room and looked at the notes and i said is there really nothing you can do other than puting him down would it be for life no she said they grow out of it at a about a year but they are in alot of continuios pain its heart breaking i said isnt there something and she said well we could put him on painkiller as strong as we have got and steroids we could give him but she said are you strong enough i said as long as there is an end to it because if it had been a life thing i would of put him down so i had to feed him by teaspoon liquidized meatballs his tablets in with them he would eat about a teaspoon and a half every few hours the only place he would eat was my bed and i was the only person he would let near him and he had water of the teaspoon to he wouldnt use a syringe this started in november xmas came and went we got in to the new year things stayed the same next xmas was in a few days now i always cook my turkey on xmas eve and carve it up xmas morning i was busy doing that i heard little feet come in to the kitchen i thought oh he just wanted to no were i was so i stopped what i was doing and gave him a comforting cuddle he often needed a cuddle for comfort and reasurence as i was holding him he sniffed my fingers and started licking them so i thought ill just try something some crumb like bits of turkey were on the so i picked some up and held them between my finger and thumb i showed him i thought he would sniff and want to go but to my great surprise he ate it and whined for more so i put some in a saucer and we never looked back. as i said i have three from the kennels the second was a cavalier from the old owners again and again we had a year of problems gastro problems again thought he would have to be put down so twice i had saved out of my income support and disabilty money and had problems any way i found out they had changed hands i again went back and the differance as soon as you enter the gate was amazing you could see there dogs and puppys for sale i got a cocker spaniel and i have had NO problems at all i was so pleased he is 5 1/2 years old and i love them all to bits happy ending thank goodness i will go back there and would recomend them well i have already.my westie is Makki, caverlier is Oberon (obi) for short the cocker is Fredi and my name is lyn

  I have a dog from this kennel, a Labrador we got as an 8 week old puppy. He was not in the least bit ill, he was healthy, clean and happy. He is 14 years old now and has been the most gentlest, lovely family member. My son was 8 when we got the dog and he was always good and responsive and good natured and never ever bared his teeth to anyone and has rarely got ill. We had another child when the dog was 6 and he was protecive and caring and when my baby became a toddler and was diving all over him and pulling his ears and all the things toddlers do, he never once snapped, he would just take himself out of the situation.
  The only illnesses he has had were nothing to do with puppy farming, he tore his cruciate ligament chasing after a cat to play with it when he was 7 and had a small cancerous growth on his nose when he was 9.
  He is old now but still gentle, he has trouble getting around but if he were a human he would be 126 years old!!!

  The puppys are from Wales, their parents are kept in terrible conditions, and the puppys leave their mothers far to young, they have never been treated for worms, fleas, any medical conditions. The puppys are then boxed up and delivered to places like Casmac kennels, some die,most have underlying conditions due to poor breeding. You may get a cheaper puppy from these places but in the long run you will pay more .

  so are you racist towards the welsh, so what if the puppies are from wales.
  Also the owners of the kennels go to wales to pick up the puppies to make sure they are in good health and checked over by a vet or dont welsh vets have the same qualifications as english ones.
  For my last point, you said places like Casmac which means you have never been there.
  you are so full of it.

  Its not about being racist against the welsh . Its the fact they are from PUPPY farms in Wales. This can be proved with the fact that the mother and fatehr are not kept at casmac kennels

  I take it you are a breeder and are trying to steal some buisiness

  No i am not a breeder but an owner of now FOUR healthy westies NOT from this place. I had a westie and scottie from here.
  1 i never saw the mother or father of the puppies
  2 no paperwork with the puppies
  3 the scottie was sold with a broken tail which when i found out they did nothing about
  4 the scottie was a very weak dog and had countless problems and died at only 3 years old
  5 the westie too had problems and died at 5 years old

  Finally i am not a breeder and anyway good breeders certainly dont need to compete with this kind of place

  Thats really sad, i also got a westie from Casmac kennels, within 2 wks he was in the vets on a drip due to bleeding from his bottom,he was very poorly, his sister that my friend purchased has got a over bite, and her knee pops out of its socket, this i understand is bad breeding.I didnt receive any paperwork,just a scrap of paper that said"westie sold as seen £350" i still have that piece of paper. i now have rescued 2 ex-puppy farm bitches, i think these girls deserve some quality of life.

  Your story is so similar to my westie bought from Casmac 8 years ago. He has the same problem and i too still have my scrap of paper that says sold as seen £350.

  I also brought a westie from these kennels, before i understood what a puppy farm was, when we first took him home he suffered badly passing blood, and was very poorly,do not support this trade ,the stud dogs and bitches in these places are living a life of hell.

  I had a scottie and westie from this place. BOTH died at a young age and both had health problems all their life..If i knew about the place what i knew now obviously i wouldnt have gone there..PLEASE go elsewhere for puppies. This is a PUPPY FARM and poorly bred weak dogs

  i was there last week and the dogs where happy and clean.
  they sell hundreds of dogs and there is only 3 negative comments about the place so i think they are pretty good by those figures.

  yes the fact as you point out they sell HUNDREDS of dogs
  That tells you everything . serious breeders dont sell hundreds of dogs
  Puppy farms do. I dont need to lie as i dont breed dogs or sell dogs. I am som,eone who had their heart broken by buying unhealthy puppiues who died early. I was never shown the mother or father and given NO papers. Do what you want where you get your dogs but people should know about my experience....I take it you actually work or own this place?!

  i think you sould get your facts right before you start bad mouthing the place
  New owners took the place over some years ago, you couldnt wish to meet nicer
  peopel and all there pups are well looked after, i leave my three dogs there when i go away and have peice of mind that there well looked after and cared for. so you are completely wrong

  my facts are straight and speak for themselves.
  Both my dogs died under 5 years old and were down to weak breeding and over breeding. The fact you say new owners took over"some " years ago means when? Also find it strange IF new owners took this place over WHY they still use the same name. I am not in the business to bad mouth anyone . what i write here are facts and my experience with buying two puppies there. So please clarify for me then the full names of the breeder and WHAT breed of dog they breed now. When i went there it turned out they bred OVER 15 different breeds!!! No genuine breeder does that

  the breeder is in wales a well known puppy farm,and yes rochford council have given casmac kennels a licence, but have you seen the puppy farms in wales that also get given licences,its disgusting. I have one of these poor puppy farm bitches, she was bald with dermadex mange when we rescued her, she lived in this condition most of her life,her body weeping, her feet are stained from urine, and her body so saggy from having pups every season,she is 3 years old. This is the poor mother of the cute pups you buy from these places, as long as they can produce litters they will be kept alive. just because casmac kennels looks clean and they make you put your feet in disinfectant before you go near the pups, it doesnt make their pups good quality, its how they make money, al the pups that came from my rescued westie would now have the same condition as she has a low immune system that causes this problem.

  That means nothing. I know i had a scottie and westie from this woman. She offered zero help once she had taken her money . BOTH dogs died at a young age and BOTH had medical problems from start to finish.I never was shown the mother or father of the puppies....I would never ever go near this place with a barge pole...PLease noone go here . I am suprised its not closed down
