A standard Pizza Express, so you know what you are getting. Service is always a bit disappointing here though.
An update. They’ve improved the menu, much better and modern. The service was good as well.

Every time I've been recently it has been packed with kids. I mean little kids - ones who cry and moan and screech. If Pizza Express have taken on a policy of going into competition with Pizza Hut for the family market it's going to lose them a lot of money, because I (and I guess lots of others) will vote with our feet. Otherwise, food is nice and service friendly.
My major complaint about this branch is that at peak times it is TOO SODDING NOISY. The general volume of this open plan space ensures that, more often than not, you have to shout to each other across the table, above the noise of 20 other tightly packed tables...
The menu is of course your standard Pizza Express menu, with it's individual pizzas on individual plates, and discouraging of sharing at the table. But, if that's to your liking, you'll get on with things just fine.

The Pizza Express in Leamington is one of the nicest of the branches I have been to. Situated in the heart of Leamington so close to parking but next to a park so you have a nice view it has a lovely Regency facade. Inside there is a contemporary design with glass tables, wooden floors and an open plan kitchen so you can see the chiefs cooking for you. The restaurant is situated over two floors allowing a large number of people to dine inside. The restaurant is quite happy to cater for large numbers in one party but i would advise you to book a a table before hand so that they know you are comming and dont run out of room or food! The menu has a nice mixture of pizzas, pastas and salads and there is nothing that is too expensive. You can drink beers, wines and spirits too.
Pizza Express is located on the corner of the Parade, opposite the park. It tends to get busy at weekends so booking is recommended. The layout of the restaurant is nice and airy with plenty of space between tables. Service is good and usually quick which is a bonus, as I have experienced very slow service at other Pizza Express restaurants.
The menu is the same as all other restaurants in the chain - a selection of pizzas and pastas, at reasonable but not super-cheap prices. It’s definitely worth taking advantage of the current 2 for 1 voucher offer that is circulating at the moment, as this makes a meal out very good value indeed!
This is a regular haunt of mine and I do have to say I frequent it fairly frequently. Compared to other Pizza Express Restaurants, it is definitely pretty much the same. However, it has recently undergone refurbishment - the design is somewhat random (tennis balls on the walls) and the chairs look dubious, especially for larger people, but are actually deceptively comfortable. The menu also seems to have taken a change, limiting their number of pasta and non-pizza dishes, which despite its eponymous name, seems a bit of a shame.
However, food at this restaurant is always delivered quick and with impeccable service and the staff are friendly, cooperative and make you have a lovely evening out. Prices are still at the medium level, though with vouchers which can often be found in newspapers, this makes it a worthwhile visit out.
As part of a chain, you know what you are getting from the menu - and what you are getting is tasty food at a very good price. It changes on quite a frequent basis too, so there is no reason not to go often! This particular branch usually feels quiet, though it is undoubtedly popular. There are usually lots of families and it seems popular for children’s parties. However, it’s not a great venue for babies as the only bathrooms are down a spiral staircase (intimidating to walk down holding a baby) and there are no changing facilities.
A trusy branch of the pizza kings, you can depend on the mixture of quality pizzas and lovely surroundings. Situated by the park, there is a relaxed ambience about this place perfect for a leisurely evening over a bottle of wine. service is quite friendly and brisk, although can suffer at peak periods. Its certainly the better of the restaurants in South Leam so worth checking out if you dont fancy a curry!
