Excellent Fish and Chip Shop. Worthy of all the awards it has recieved.
Great value also, where else can you get a decent meal for a fiver? certainly not a indian or chinese takeaway.
I didn't have a problem with the service, always quick in and out. Certainly don't have to wait 20-30 minutes for food to cooked when shop is busy.
El-Guapo, you must be very greedy if the portions aren't big enough for you.
A portion of fish and chips easily fills a large plate, that more than enough to feed one person.
We aren't still in the war you know!!!

This fish & chip shop is located on the parade of shops in Burpham. It has apparently won awards for its food. There is no doubt that the food is of good quality and tastes good. It is let down by the small portion sizes and it is far too overpriced as it is not that good. It is hit and miss with the service too, sometimes you are served by a surly teenager which lets the place down. The smaller portions & deals for kids and senior citizens seem better value than the rest of the food.

This is a friendly local fish and chip shop located in Burpham. They have won the best fish and chip shop award nationwide in the past and they deserve it! The food is always a high standard and the fish and chips cooked to perfection! The children enjoy the 'kids meals’ which are boxed up in a child friendly box and come with a toy/puzzle. The portion sizes are good but you can order bigger portions of chips if required and this might be a better option for those with a smaller appetite or for 2 children to share. We have been there and ordered for 10 and they nhave no problems coping. They also will deliver to local places/events as my friend used them for her 40th birthday party.
