hi, i think my review deserves a one star the bar staff are great and the club isn't bad. The huge downfall i found is that when you find something in the toilet that probably shouldn't be there and tell the bouncer. They then become highly aggressive and assault you, now in my opinion a broken nose slice across the forehead and huge bruises all over the neck don't really inspire confidence in the place. I thought door staff were supposed to stop fights and calm the situation not directly attack and physically pin people so they can hit you repeatedly in the face. The place would definately be a lot better and probably busier if the door man involved was replaced.

i go this bar all of the time and the food and cocktails are lovely.
there is so much space in comparison to bars on princes ave, where you are packed in like sardines. Not my idea of a good night out!

i would strongly recommend this venue. It well decorated, cosy and the staff and crowd in there are very friendly.

This bar is late openning bar in the Beverley Road area of Hull which is a stones throw away from the university.

More popular on a weekend (Thursday to Sunday) not just with students but with everyone.

Thursday are Whats the beef which is free entry and host three local bands with drink offers.

Friday’s is 'One Night Stand’ playing R&B and funk house. Free entry untill 11pm there after a mere £2,

Saturdays is 'The Common Room’ which usually has guest DJs and Sundays is the 'Sunday Flex’ playing Rnb Hip Hop DanceHall Bassline Funky House Garage.

The venue is spread out over two floors and is open till 3am with plenty of seating area and a lot of drinks to choose from.

Fusion Bar and Grill is a late opening wine bar. It seems to be quite popular with students due to it being close to the University, and it’s proximity to Haworth Arms, a typical student pub.
The bar itself is not overly large, set in one open room with a corridoor containing the toilets. They have provided comfortable seats around the room, even a couple of sofas, and an electric fire gives the room a cosy feel.
The music tends to be of the indie variety, and the alcohol is quite a reasonable price too.
I haven’t sampled the food here, so I can’t review that, but the bar itself is close to a taxi rank and takeaway.
