Review of Beetlejuice from 14 March 2010

I went in for the first time this morning, thinking of going for a light lunch. Nothing surprising in the look outside and inside - a simple, pragmatic design. Beetlejuice is one of the many small sandwich bars in the area, offering homemade meals, plenty of make your own sandwich choices, a good range of smoothies and freshly squeezed juices, and really tasty soups. The guy behind the counter spoke to me in a very friendly manner, being a frequent visitor of Glasgow the last two weeks. I noticed a tinge of Glasgowegian accent. Good choice for vegetarians too. The veg soup with dyl I tried really made my day.

Review of Beetlejuice from 19 January 2009

This is a fairly new, nice little sandwich shop. What I really love about them, however, is their smoothies. There’s an enormous choice, and they are all freshly made to order. They also make really yummy, sometimes unusual soups. Perhaps a little bit more expensive than average, but worth it (cheaper than Starbucks!)
