Love this place but the Forestry Commission have decided they don't make enough money out of the devoted people who run it, so they're kicking The Hub out and replacing it with a franchise :-(

Be quick and visit The Hub before the Forestry Commission closes them for good.

Delicious quisine, well located. I haven’t been to a café for ages. The food was quickly ordered and recieved. I also like their staff. Very friendly and helpful. Nice couple of hours I spent in there. Nicely decorated too.

This cafe is well worth a visit, even if you are not one of the many mountain bikers of the world. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent, cakes especially.

Be it mountain biking, a gentle walk in the hills or just a stop on a country drive, the Hub Café is the place to go. Set in the Glentress forest, this little delight provides food and drink’s primarily to hungry mountain bikers, but is worth a stop for others as well. Don’t be put off by the appearance, it’s a bit higgldypiggildy, the food is great. Be it a breakfast butty, soup, panini or one of their cakes, all are worth a munch. On those rare summer days sit outside and watch the bikers either start their toil up the hill or get back muddy with big smiles, during winter the inside is cozy and warm. My favorite has and always will be the chocolate flapjacks.
