It do love it here – but it’s lost a bit of it’s vibe! Bit mainstream now!

Great!
Was there for the first and although it was rainy it was very impressive.
You can get everything and nothing at camden market.
If I tell friends of my london trip i always advice them to go there if they weren’t there before.

Love this place!!! Always a great atmosphere, can spend hours here (and usually do ;)
True it isn’t what it used to be but the vibe is still there with a great mix of people. The stables are the best part with the vintage stalls. Also well worth sticking around the stables long into the evening (most of the tourists are gone by then) and take a walk into Proud Galleries always good!

a wide range of items available new and second hand.
its worth a wander around if nothing better to do .
probably the best time to go for choice is the weekends.
Plenty of cheap take away food places around.

The place to be when it's Saturday or Sunday ! Good clothes, good food (very international) and good atmosphere ! Many stores deserve a quick glance with their fashion front !

Can't add much to what's already been said, but just make sure you visit! Always some thing to do/ see. Relax with some cocktails in the Cuban bar and make sure you walk down every random alley, enjoy!

For a quality versatile market in London this is one of my fav's. With the smells of food from around the globe - it really is a experience to visit Camden Market - with stalls consisting of every thing from clothes - food it truly is a bargain hunters heaven. Ending my shopping with a nice smoothie and food over Camden Lock Bridge in a cafe - I am sure to return!

slightly overrated.

In my personal opinion, Camden Market is just because of the acceptable look of its town this famous. the market itself isn´t anything special, mainly the prices aren´t that low you suspect. but if you´re a good bargainer, you could have a lot of fun. So try out ;)

Some great clothes and bags down this road's section of the market.

The cheap clothing stalls leave me cold but the stables area is as close to a souk as we get in the UK & should be your ultimate destination when in NW1. Quality, not necessarily cheap, stuff with an individual twist is what you should be after though the people watching comes a close second and a stroll along the canal & up Primrose Hill a good third. There are a ton of fantastic food stands & be sure to look out for the great choice in Gastro Pubs too. I love the vibe, the architecture and the unexpected finds though, as The Sussex Idler, I have to say that it comes only second to Brighton's North Laine in the quirky retail stakes................

I look forward to visiting Camden Lock Markets like a kid on Christmas. It's my freakin' DisneyLand. Bring 100's of pounds for shopping sprees, or no money at all and just window shop/people watch.
Some tips for shopping the market:
Bring comfy walking shoes. Space for sitting, even at cafes, is sparse.
A small bag to carry over your shoulder is best - it stops you from overspending, and the isles in some areas are extremely narrow, you don't want to knock stuff over with a bookbag.
Keep your camera in your hand - many places don't allow you to take pics, but for the places that do, you don't want to have to fumble around. Also, the people watching can be so incredibly entertaining you will want to have photos to show the folks back home.
A small umbrella is the only way to fight the intermittent showers and get through the outdoor market stalls. A big umbrella won't even fit between some stalls.
Keep your wits about you. Theft is high in the area, and with so many people packed in one space, it could be easy for you to get pickpocketed.
Have fun, look around, and by all means, take pictures!
