To be honest we have used here more than Poppy’s in Riverside. This sweet shop holds more of Ye Olde about it. Lots of old flavours here which will bring back many a childhood memory. Anniseed, cloves, mints, humbugs…aah just the ticket. It’s worth going for the smell as you walk in the door!! Even more if you’re into Pontefract Cakes……the Best.
A classic old fashioned sweet shop is something we all need more of.
This shop has been going for so many years and once you see the amount of sweet in store you ll be back.
You cant help but love the shop and the amazing lady that runs it.
She is more than helpful and you can have a good chat whilst you shop.
It’s the only place in Lewes worth getting proper sweets/
