“Pho opened in Clerkenwell in June 2005 as London's first Vietnamese street food restaurant. We're small, informal and serve great value, deliciously healthy and authentically prepared Vietnamese food. At Pho we keep it simple. The short menu means...” more...

Avoid the nasi goreng - not the real thing. What arrived was a fried rice of sort, poor in execution and ingredients not fresh. The prawns tasted off.
Straight up and down noodle place. Seems clean, and that’s a good thing obviously, but it could do with a bit of fluff as the ambience is nil.
It is really close to Victoria station, and given the stock standard chains about I thought this was a good place to drop and get some less predictable eats! The Pad Thai was good, a punch in the face amount of garlic, and it was a tomato base which is not authentic, however it was tasty and the portions going out were serious (in fact myself and a friend shared a main).
Seems I went for the good bits on the menu as I was quite chuffed with my food here. They’ve got a rather plasticy and canteen-like environment (complete with plastic cups) with laminated menus but I wasn’t too fussed. The menu has a collection of noodle soups and rice dishes, we opted for the phad thai (£6.50) which was actually pretty good. It came with plump and succulent prawns that were cooked 'just right’, with a slight garlic overload but I’m quite the fan. We also tried their dumplings which weren’t too bad and washed it all down with a bottle of Pinot grig (£14). As a quick and good value place near Victoria station, I’d say it’s pretty good.
You always know whatv you’re going to get at Noodle Noodle - most people find a favourite and stick with it. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. A good thing too as the staff are never particularly helpful. And God help you if you decide not to leave a tip!
If you’re after a simple Oriental lunch or dinner in Victoria, then Noodle Noodle fits the bill. The restaurant’s sterile decoration doesn’t encourage you to linger overlong and the food is not outstanding - it serves the usual range of soup noodles and rice dishes. But it’s quick, simple, comparatively cheap for the area and the gyoza are definitely better than Wagamama’s!
I agree the comment from Sie. I had exactly the same experience at Noodle Noodle, both about the noodle and about the rude behaviour from the lady. If I add more info, the spring rolls are directly from microwave which you can get from Sainsburys... Coke was flat...
If you just want to stuff something in stomach, maybe a good place.
Weird experience at Noodle Noodle. I ordered Chicken soup noodle and it was served with spagetti. No one would expect to be served with spagetti at oriental noodle restaurant so I asked a lady serving food about it. She told me "yes, it's spagetti so what is the problem? You should have asked us what kind of noodle we have before ordering dishes." The way of speaking was quite rude & she (apparently Asian lady) knew what I meant. No one would expect to eat spagetti for Chinese dishes. There's no description on the menu saying that "customers should ask the type of noodle before ordering or you will get spagetti in your oriental soup noodle". The restaurant should clarify this to avoid confusion.
