Great food (had beef sandwich with onions and gravy), great local draft beer, great staff, great inside and outside seating. You won’t go wrong just as long as you remember that food can’t be ordered between 2 pm and 7 pm, I think.

Possibly the warmest and friendliest pub in Tring, the Kings Arms is a couple of minutes walk from the High Street but is well worth the effort. Attracting mostly locals, perhaps due to its hidden location, the pub serves a fine range of drinks and has a very friendly landlord. Food is also served and portions are large and tasty, if a little more expensive than some other pubs in the area. The inside of the pub is a little small, resembling a living room and on cold nights can get quite crammed, however there is a garden which weather permitting is perfectly pleasant.
