Stiffkey Lamp Shop

What an excellent shop and something quite out of the ordinary that you wouldn’t expect to find in the sleepy village of Stiffkey. It’s an antique shop with a difference as it specialises in two things. The first, as the name suggests, is lamps - of all shapes, sizes and designs. Next door it’s stuffed full or antique bathroom furniture and fittings - tubs, shower heads, taps, plugs and piping - much of it beautifully restored and re-chromed and re-enamelled etc. Beware however that prices are not cheap - perhaps nor surprising -but the price tags on some items did rather shock me. But it’s a lovely place to visit, even if you’re only window shopping and if you’re in the market for a lamp or antique bathroom things then derfinitely pay a visit.
