This is one of the cheaper places to buy brand name frozen produce and they always have a lot of household essentials such as potatoes, bread and toilet roll on special offer. This Iceland sells freezers and other white goods on credit or buy now - interest is charged at variable rates.

There is a reasonable selection of frozen and fresh food but the fruit , veg and salad aisle is much more limited than a large supermarket and not as fresh as I would like.

They have a system in place, where by if you register at the shop you can buy your goods and select a delivery slot - usually for the next day. They keep your frozen food frozen and chilled food chilled - this is of great advantage to people relying on public transport to get around -they get to choose what they want without having to pay for a taxi or struggle with several bags onto a bus.
