Cowbridge is a very upmarket place so it’s always a surprise to me to see how busy this store is. The old adage that the rich got wealthy by looking after their pennies, not their pounds, certainly rings true. They know a bargain when they see one and this Oxfam definitely gets them. Like any keen bargain hunter, you may need to visit more than once to get lucky. However, donations of goods are coming in all the time and there is a keen team of volunteers who sort and price them in order to raise much needed funds for this development charity. Oxfam is a charity that crosses all religions and races and this shop is well supported by the local community.
