i found this place thanx to google i had no idea it even exsted its a good day out an with the brooklands museum next door theres plenty to do. an even bigger plus is FREE CAR PARKING :) it felt amazing to sit in some of the cars they had there even though i had to squeeze my size 8 high booted feet into some of the cars i would warn people who are scared of hights that the 3rd floor is realy high up and with a lot of help from my boyfriend i made it up there. they also have a display group called the silver arrows i woudnt say the display was ammazing but it gave us something to watch while we had our lunch i allso have to say though use caution in the shop most things are over priced like 42pound for a small toy car so over all a good place to visite and check out.

Great free day out with Mercedes test track

A great FREE day out; perfect for the motor fan or just to browse with an excitable nephew! Basically, it's a very grand Mercedes showroom but enhanced with a bit of motor history, some video shows (including a nice 3D one) and a great test track. If you're not brave enough to try yourself, the skid track makes for great viewing if you fancy laughing at others.
It is literally a few minutes from the Brooklands Tesco so just pop over after your next shop.
Mercedes-Benz World (just a short train and taxi ride from Waterloo) is an ideal destination for anybody who goes ga-ga over vroom-vrooms. For me, it was kinda neat but I’ve never been much of a car buff. Still, I can see the appeal of the “driving experiences” offered there. If you want to get behind the wheel of some top Mercs with a pro in the passenger seat offering tips on how to safely maximize the potential of these metallic beasts, this is the place for you!
I have no need to go back but can easily recommend Mercedes Benz World to anyone that's into cars.
So what was I doing there in the first place? I was "test driving" Canon's new Powershot. The venue turned out to be a very photogenic one for playing with this new digital compact camera:

This place is amazing i treated my dad to a go around the tracks in an AMG you couldnt wipe the smile off his face for days, the building is brilliant to go around there are so many top cars, you can sit in most of them, so you can really get a feel for how the other half live!!
Highly recommended for a day out. All current Merc's available and you can TRY them on a test track and even on an off road track. However, you need to at least pretend to want to buy one :o). Also some historic cars and a small Cinema. 2 restaurants. One with a roof terrace overlooking the action on the test track.
Just next to Mercedes Benz World is the Histroric motor racing mecca Brooklands Museum

If you and/or your family and friends are part petrol heads this is an outing for you.
Brooklands Museum also has a Concorde on display and you can go inside for a small extra fee collected towards its restoration and maintainance.
I am a real petrol head and Mercedes Benz enthusiast. Every car I have owned has been a Mercedes and Mercedes Benz World was an amazing experience. I went during a classic car show event which made the day extra special. The Mercedes Benz Museum is free and great to see all of the history of the company. They even have a classic 600 limo on display and an F1 car. Every model is on display including all the AMG models. In the car park there is a used Maybach section. I counted 17. 17 Maybach’s all parked together – now that is a sight. There are eating facilities, play areas for kids, gift shops, car servicing, this place has the works. What a great day out for any Mercedes Benz enthusiast.
Brilliant place to vist. Lots of lovely cars on display. If you are looking for a good place to visit this is it.
They have loads of great cars here and the staff, well they can’t do enough for you. If Mercedes are your thing you can’t go wrong.
Even if you are not after a new car lots of other things to see in or around Mercedes-Benz World.
Ther are various interesting stories about the history of Brooklands well worth checking out the museum next door.
My wife and I visited Mercedes Benz World on my birthday last month.
I won an AMG driving experience and lunch in The Gullwing Restaurant in a competition in what Car Magazine.
Firstly, the driving experience was phenomenal. My wife was very nervous about the thought of driving fast but we had a fantastic instructor, playing to our relative strengths when it would have been far too easy to just be critical. My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the experiences to our friends and family.
Secondly, the service and hospitality shown by the staff in The Gullwing Restaurant was absolutely wonderful and should be commended. They went out of their way to be helpful, courteous and provided a level of service that many London restaurants would be envious of. The food was also top class and relatively reasonably priced.
Finally, our host did a fantastic job of looking after us in between drives. She was able to give us any information we required, was incredibly proficient in introducing us to the vehicles and made us feel like old friends rather than customers.
Stunning place, perhaps a little too grand, and they don’t seem to mind window shoppers… not sure how many people are serious about buying. They also have some classic Mercs , pleasannt cafe and an untested restaurant.
It’s possible to try cars on the skid pan and be driven round as well.
AND it’s next door to Brooklands museum, so you can while away a couple of hours between the two.
I ended up here sort of by accident was so impressed that i wanted to tell the world about it!hehe its extremley well sign posted once you are in the weybridge area and simple to find. theres a very impressive race track outside and as you drive up to the front all the mercs are lined up, all shiny and new!The actual building itself is very impressive, theres a museum type thing and a little cafe that does great coffees, teas, paninis and scones. you can sit outside and watch the different mercs go round the track and skid-all very amusing. and if you book in advance you can have a test drive youself. All the info is on the website about their days out (you dont have to be buying, or driving a merc to go there) its just a really nice thing to do and makes you feel like your almost in the middle of the country, in the distant future! And finally there is a gift shop to take home a souvenir of your day..i really like the remote control car but at almost £200 it was a bit out of my price range!!
