SOUK

This is the most preferred bar in the area. The prices are not low but I think it's worth it - nice cocktails, friendly staff and beautiful decor. I haven't tried yet the food, but I'm thinking of trying it next time.

My experience at SOUK was pretty nice. So firstly, the bar looks really sleek and service was great. The thing that threw me off, was the atmosphere and music. There were a fair number of people there, but it had a very flat atmosphere. It may have been the majority of clientele, but the music had something to do with it. The music was almost trancey, one song was light dub step and just so out of place.

I may go back again for the service, enjoy some foods but then move on pretty quickly.

I love this place! Ended up here after work one Saturday evening with a few colleagues. None of us had been there before and thought we’d pop in for a few. Glad we did because it was a great night with great memories and some great pics on our cameras and the electro house that was playing topped it all! After having many pitchers of clapham ice tea between us we ended up staying till the end and had a blast!

It's been a while since i've been to Souk but then one random evening i was handed a flyer with a fab 50% off cocktails! well you cant not go with that kind of deal!!

Even though this was for selected cocktails they didnt scrimp on the choice and myself and friends had a lovely random Wednesday evening in this gorgeous Moroccan inspired bar with some fabulous cocktails!

p.s. They even provide yummy spicy prawn crackers to soak up the alcohol too! love it! Walked out a few too many hours later with a big smile on my face forgetting i had work in the morning... and will be going back for sure!

It is a small bar, and busy but it makes for a good atmosphere whenever i have been to Souk the music is always spot on the crowd has always been a good mix of south Londers, I really don't think it is that pricey and considering whenever I have been there no matter of time or day I have never paid to get in so think that evens things out. Have never eaten there next time maybe.

i love this place, its a home away from home, fabulous cocktails and nibbles, perfect to unwind after a hard week for romantic drinks (try the gorgeous Passionate Affair)or a fun filled girls night, Bellini time!

I found this little gem in their first few years of opening and i still keep going back, if you haven't been, it's time to check it out!

Came here after hanging out in the park on the Sunday of the bank holiday weekend. we were given a couple of flyers that gave us free shots with our drinks. There were some other great deals on too. I expected Souk to be expensive because it looks like a very up market place but it was actually really reasonable with all these offers!

There was a really great vibe and we ended up staying there till the end which was 4am! Most late night clubs and bars are really grimy but i loved this one! Apparently there similar nights for the Royal wedding bank holiday too...I will be there then for sure!

Cant believe i hadn't been here before! its just the kind of place i love! Vibrant, trendy, great crowd, cocktails looked really good but i was sticking to the champagne.

I was on a table a friend had reserved for his birthday. we were looked after brilliantly by a really friendly and fun waitress.

we had plans to go somewhere else after a couple of hours at Souk but abandoned them because we where having such a good time where we were!

the atmosphere was great and built up more and more through the night!

Souk is a jewel in the sometimes depressing London! Stepping inside I felt like id escaped the greyness and the miserable British weather and entered an oasis of warmth and comfort. I loved the look of the place and the feeling of being in Aladdin’s den or somewhere exotic like Morocco but with the modern twist of the music (great mix of classic and commercial tracks from the DJ) and also the great crowd that came in that night. I came on a Friday not long after a hard, dull days work and was able to leave all my bad feelings out side and just have a great time! The waiting staff were really friendly and made me feel welcome and that I’d come to the right place. The cocktails made by the lovely bar men were amazing! I didn’t try the food but it looked delicious and I will definitely be trying it next time!
The night started off quite calmly and I had a nice table to sit with my friend. As the night went on and it got busier the atmosphere encouraged us to leave our seats to dance and mingle with the crowd.
I saw they make bookings for parties so I cant wait until my birthday so I have an excuse to throw one there!

I've been here a couple of times as a starting point and I wasn't that impressed. The drinks are way over priced, especially as this bar offers nothing special. It is small and narrow, so wherever you stand you always appear to be in the middle of a gangway, so it makes for uncomfortable standing (not that standing is comfortable). I found it a little pretentious, which made for a cold and judgemental atmosphere. However it is situated in a convenient location and if you are with good company then you probably wont care where you are!

really cool place , great service .... at the weekend they play electro house ... it is quite small but it amazing atmosphere..

SO.UK used to be the "hot new thing" on Clapham High Street, but it feels like it's lost it's cool factor in recent months. The food is good and the staff are always friendly, it just seems to be empty most of the time. I'm really not sure why.... trying to be too cool for school perhaps?

Anyway, i recommend SO.UK if you're looking for a quiet night, a cocktail and a light bite to eat.

I went there on Sunday and myself and my bf ate 3 courses each for £30 in total (for food)....we were both really impressed as we hadn't expected the food to fill us up for £15 each and it did

The music was nice too....i'm not sure theres anywhere else in Clapham that plays live music on Sundays, the staff were friendly and smily, i thought it was amazing value for money and totally up our street (both atmosphere & literally as it's so local!)

Very nice bar to go to all year round weather it be in the summer or winter as the staff are always polite. and the very cool cocktail drinks.

I really enjoyed SO UK when i went...

I went with a group of friends and my boyfriend and it was so good we went again recently. It was awesome. We were taken care of really well by the staff. I'm not normally a bar fan, but the music was great.

I will definitely be going back

SO.UK!!! Well where do I start! Fridays to me is a night of sublime musical entertainment very hard to find anywhere in london these day’s.. attended by a young cool crowd that know how to party!! SO.UK supplies an allround great service that encourages you back for more!! certainly one of my favourite hang-outs to date.. keep up the good work & look forward to the next friday!!

Fridays Fridays its all about the Fridays The music is amazing Dj’s KosmetiQ & David James Are the best Dj’s i have heard in a long time. . .SO.UK is the only reason i don’t travel into the west end of a weekend.. If you love the music but cant deal with the crowds then sunday is the one I personally do both as i live in clapham. . . The bar staff are friendly and always smiling . . The drinks ARE a little Pricey But then You would normally pay £15 to get into a night club to hear Music of this Quality so it well makes up for it…
At 3am If you scream loud enough You might get ONE MORE TUNE … I just wish it had a later license.
