The Beer here is strong and foreign. You may think it a wise idea to have a few frothy Belgian Beverages of a Thursday evening, but you may regret it in that Friday morning meeting.
Good place, with great little booths if you can get them. I’ve never quite worked out the choice of the wooden bunker décor though.

Phil wrote: 'I've never walked in a straight line out of here'. Well, no wonder, since many of their beers are 9%! And how can you not want to taste everything! I love it.
I was surprised, yet thrilled, at their choice of music on this particular night. They kept playing dirty subversive house music! Just couldn't have been any better. House+belgian beer=awesome.

It’s all in the name here really – there’s more flavours of beer than you can possibly imagine! I’m a particular fan of the strawberry and passionfruit varieties, though after a couple they do get a little sickly. Another problem in here can be that with all the eagerness to try the different flavours… you drink a tad more than you had planned to!
The menu here is quite simple, lots of steaks, bangers and mash and the like. However, the star item is undoubtedly the mussels, served in huge pots with bread or chunky chips, delicious!
Bierodrome in Clapham is virtually split into two; a relaxed bar area with a few booths and lots of standing room, and a restaurant behind the other side of the bar. The staff are friendly and attentive.

My male friends love this place because of the beer! I myself am a huge fan of the strawberry beer. The food is classic Belgian food, great to try. Not for anyone who prefers traditional food as its mainly fish dishes and unusual meats. There is however a huge burger on the menu, this is highly recommended by the boys.

The Bierodrome is a hell of a night out, and a great place for a date too. Excellent Belgium specialties - read - mussels, and a good solid selection of Belgium classics. Yes, there aren't as many on the menu as The Dove, but then, who wants to trek to Shoreditch? (In fact these days it's probably quicker to get to Bruxelles!)
I've never walked in a straight line out of here, and I've never had a bad time!

If i were to lean out of my bedroom window and throw a tennis ball, I could probably hit the Bierodrome :)
There are better venues in clapham for ambience, music & atmosphere but the bierdrome wins because of its beer selection. Pricey, yes; but not actually all that bad when you consider that it's quality belgian beer you're paying for. I often take my time to choose from one of the 50+ beers on offer (most with there own special glass!) and I've found the staff helpful, friendly and always ready to make a recommendation.
This is a beer lovers paradise.
