Tigerlily is stunning visually, it is expensive but they have an offer on at the moment with buy 1 get 1 free on certain drinks between 5 and 8. The Raspberry Mohito is in this offer and well worth a try.

We only had a sharing platter and it was delicious though not a lot of food for the price!

It is usually extremely busy at the weekends but if you want to go somewhere a bit special then this is your place.

On the downside, I booked their private dining area for a group, and when we arrived, they didn’t give us it. Instead, they spread our group across two (separated) tables, which completely spoiled the evening.

On the plus side, the food was awesome. Best steak I’ve ever tasted.

I’d skip it, though, and go somewhere less pretentious. there are lots of alternatives in Edinburgh, after all.

Tigerlily is a great bar/club on Edinburgh’s prestigious George St. It’s expensive but then it also delivers with a lively atmosphere of funky house music, good vibes and beautiful women. A little bit pretentious perhaps but well worth a look.

Wining and dining at Tigerlily is a decadent experience! If the ornate chandeliers and rich fabrics and textures that adorn the walls and floors don't lather you with style and class, the creative selection of cocktails and drinks will definitely tip the scales.

The food is also dressed for the occasion, but unfortunately looks can be deceiving as it is often very plain. The bathrooms are embellished with mirrors, candles and modern fixtures and are extremely clean.

The chic interior and sophisticated approach offers you a slice of high society, but all of this comes at a pretty price. My advice, bring your credit card as backup - you will need it!

Gorgeous bar full of gorgeous people! This is where I go if I want to indulge myself. The decor is gorgeous with chandeleirs and the most beautiful mosaic made of tiny little mirror pieces covering an entire wall- it is very glamourous.

The cocktail and wine lists are extensive and the bar staff very polite and efficient, and they certainly know what they are doing.

Tigerlily's also has the most impressive smokers garden I have ever seen! A small room (it is more like a room than a garden) in the middle of the pub with no roof but lots of lovely heaters.

Tigerlily's is a lovely place to go for a treat, but unless you have a bottomless pocket, then it's not the place you could go all the time. Gorgeous, glamourous, expensive.

Tigerlily is a great place during the day or at night, the cocktail selection is great, (you have to try the Chilean Chica!) the layout of the place is great with really comfy seats, cool flat screen TV's and a fire place. It's a must if you havent been. The food is lovely but a little pricey for what you get. I'd much rather go for drinks at the weekend than dinner.

This is an ever indulging place. Greeted with chocs and champayne, white company products, big plasma screens and Ipods in each room. it's super glamourous and so is the cost! Unforgettable experience.

This is one of my most favourite bars/restauraunts in Edinburgh. It's only been opened for not much more than a year and it is out of this World. Huge chandilleirs hanging from the ceiling, beautiful decor and the most delicious menu. Try the home made beef-burger, definitely the best in Edinburgh bu a Country meal. The staff are amazing, really well trained and really passionate about the menu. Last time I was the staff member was so helpful, professional and attentive. It caters for all ages and is really modern and trendy. I have been with friends, with my Husband and also for my Mum's 50th and each time we go it keeps getting better. The menu is reasonable considering and the cocktails are also delicious. Go, you will not be disappointed. MMMMM....

I loved the bar - the choice of cocktails was great! The decor was calming and I loved the way they divided the tables up with the long strings of beads - the wall paper was fabulous and several people in the party have now got it on order.

The food was excellent and the service was tremendous. We need one down here in London!
