Riverside Tavern

This pub is definately back on the map, i went there recently as i had heard it changed hands again in October and i can not praise the guys in there enough for their hard work and determination in bringing this place back up! the guy in there before these did not have a clue, but you can tell the difference as soon as you walk through the door now... well done guys, we will Definately be back and telling everyone we know to come down. thanks :-)

This pub has quite recently changed hands, and I have to say, it has gone downhill since... we went back recently and found the internal decoration to be cold and uninviting and outside it was tatty in the garden with weeds and loads of cigarette ends everywhere. Previously we went often with various family members ie kids, parents, grandparents etc, but def. wouldn't bother now.Much better to go over the bridge to somewhwre nice in Rochester. Shame, as was our 'local' !

Haven’t been during the day, but is a great night out, even for heterosexual people like myself. Great music, surprisingly big and they serve great burgers and hot dogs if you get peckish. Look out for the drag queens, they have legs to rival Betty Grable’s.

This is a great place to go for food, especially on a Monday when you can order 2 for 1 meals. The food is awesome and is generally served by the funniest (yet strict) waitress I have ever met. Be aware though that this is a gay bar. The evenings are very lively and continue in to the early hours on with cabaret nights and dj’s.
