Review of Wright's Lion Brewery from 23 January 2009

Dickie Wright’s off-license is in the last remaining building of Farnham United Brewery which closed in the 1930s having been taken over by Courage of Alton. It retains some of the features of the Lion Brewery (as it was called) and continues to supply kegs to pubs and restaurants in the area. However it is also a lovely little offie with an excellent selection of local bitters as well as specially imported wines and spirits.

Staff very friendly and knowledgeable (with many called Wright as well) and prices reasonable. Well worth a visit since they compete well with supermarket prices.
