The spa was excellent 2 very good treatments, fantastic facilities, buffet lunch, a 3 course evening meal and breakfast. A room upgrade that included a complimentary bottle of wine in the room and 2 bottles of water all for £213 total for 2 people. What a bargain, I’m still stunned at the quality of everything on offer for that price, ok I suppose they make their money by selling products and extras with dinner but I can’t begrudge them that. I looked around and most places are charging getting on for twice as much without dinner. I have heard that at the weekends it gets very crowded and I can believe it. To operate for these prices they must operate a “pack ’em in” policy, however we came on a Thursday for my wifes birthday and it was fine. Plenty of room to move and a great experience and all only a 90min drive from North London. Another reviewer commented on the high bar prices but I have to say considering its an isolated venue that could easily rip off a captive audience I dont think they have gone down those lines. £4.10 for a pint of Guiness doesn’t seem too bad for a hotel, I regularly pay that sort of price at pubs in London. In my opinion this place is highly recommended, especially if you are a formula 1 fan. The hotel is a stones throw from Silverstone and the bar is full of F1 memorabilia. Also because of its proximity to Althorp house they have several letters from Princess Diana on the walls of the hallway, interesting if thats your sort of thing.

Wow I have to disagree with the other comments. The spa was pricey and the food wasn't worth the price we paid. Maybe it is because we went on a Sunday, around the pool area it was like an old wifes club. I won't be booking to go there again and although the grounds are okay (if you like golf) there isn't anything within a car journey if you wanted to wander out in the evening and not get slammed with diabolical bar prices.

Have been to a number of events at Whittlebury now and have stayed there once.

The service is on the whole very good and the grounds in which the spa, gold course and hotel are set is quite simply stunning.

The food in Murray’s restaurant is just wonderful and if you’re staying the night there then you can add an upgrade to eat in here for only £20 more per person - and it’s well worth it.

The food is a British/continental style blend, offering quality local foods too. It’s a small but extremely appesiting menu and you will struggle to narrow your choice down to one main course, even though there’s only about half a dozen things on there anyway!

Leaving room for their deserts is also highly recommended.

They also have a taster menu which I think we will be back to try in the near future.

Fine dining, difficult to find this kind of quality locally, but worth the visit, especially if you’re passing down this way near to Silverstone or Towcester.

This is a fabulous Hotel and Spa set in beautiful grounds. A brilliant place for a weekend getaway with loads of things to do in the vacinity. Its within walking distance of Silverstone race course but you need to book very early if you intend to stay there on a grand prix weekend. The spa is one of the best hotel spa,s I have stayed at in the uk and they have a number of treatments available especially in Jan/Feb there are loads of spa package deals. This hotel has a number of great eating venues and a large conferencing facility. And finally if Golf is your thing its got two eighteen hole courses. Something for everyone and last time I stayed there I had a walk down the woods behind the hotel and saw a wild boer. Yes Really.
