I love this place! Delicious all over!
Also one of the only places in Amsterdam (affordable) were you can acutally have a typically English high tea. Ok, it´s not the same, but the concept is similar. The scones are something totally different (how come they´re named scones?) but the clotted cream and homemade marmelade is extremely tasty! Ofcourse we ate way too much, and had to sit down for a least an hour before moving. Not a problem though; the interior is really cute with long wooden tables, big chairs right from the livingroom, housecats (they were mean...!!), great service, and last but not least...the smell is delicious! Freshly made bread and pies all day!
There is also one near the museumquarter, at the Roelof Hartstraat 68, and at the Westergasfabriek (Amsterdam-West). These are both smaller and located in a less touristic area.
