MY PARTNER AND I DINED THERE LAST NIGHT, WE WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO IT HOWEVER WE WERE EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED. THE FOOD WAS AVERAGE BUT THAT WAS LET DOWN BY EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE AND ATTITUDE AND ARROGANCE OF THE STAFF. WE LIVE ON PORT SOLENT AND WILL DEFFINITELY NOT BE RETURNING THE SERVICE IS BETTER IN A MCDONALDS.
daniro Really wish we’d read this review before dining there this evening. Absolutely nothing seems to have changed since Paullilly dined there back in April 2011. Almost identical experience for us. Extremely disappointing. I’m more than a little suspicious about the other reviews on here.

Just eaten at the restaurant yesterday. Excellent food. Very good ambiance and the staff very friendly and were happy to recommend dishes. Will definitely visit many more times.
Definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants I have been to, and my favourite choice in the area. Parking is easy, as there are ample spaces at Port Solent. The restaurant itself is very large, taking 200 people, yet they have enough staff to be very attentive - but not invasive, either. The food is of a high standard, well cooked and presented. The portions are a good size, and the pricing is reasonable. There is a large selection of set menus for two people and upwards, or a very large selection of individual dishes. The restaurant itself is well presented, and bookings are accepted (service charge applied for larger parties). I have been there on a regular basis, and have never been disappointed.
