This quaint looking greasy spoon 'caff’ is a refreshing change to the sterile coffee shop chains that are plagueing our high streets and towns.
It is close to the Thames near Caversham Bridge - No gorge in sight but maybe they’re in it for the long run until the Thames carves out a nice canyon in a few million years.
good luck to them anyway. they deserve their success.
The food is good fry-up grub and small meals that you’d expect from a cafe.
they also offer good value bed and breakfast as there a rooms attached to the cafe. I think prices start at £30 for a single room.
