Luciano is one of the many London restaurants from Marco Pierre White, the exhuberant and talented Chef entrepreneurs from London. This is classic Italian catered for a Mayfair predominantly male business crowd. There is a bar at the front with a few tables offering a shorter and cheaper menu, and a much larger and imposing room at the back with probably over 100 seats. The food is good and the service is professional, not particularly friendly but pro. I usually go there at lunch time in the room at the front which I find nicer as there is more light and the price is half of the larger room. The main room is very very noisy and I find it hard to have a proper conversation (business or not), plus the prices are way higher than in the small room at the front. To me the highlight of the main room is the contemporary photography collection covering the wall with some very … attractive models mainly nude, clearly more attractive than the middle-aged masculine business crowd in the main room!
