Review of Virgin Active from 1 February 2009

I went here for a trial before I joined the gym. The club was very spacious and aimed at people without children. The gym facilities were as you’d expect from a high priced health and fitness club. The class timetable was extensive catering for all abilities and interests. The opening times are also great allowing for early morning training sessions before work. The swimming pool has no chlorine so you don’t smell of swimming for the rest of the day - added bonus.
The downside is that there is no steam room, whirl pool or sauna that my husband and I could go in together as they are all single sex.
