Mrs Bridges Tea Rooms

I found this place quite by mistake and went here for lunch, it does lovely little lunches like jacket potatoes and is great value for money.

Staff were friendly and food was served very quickly which is what you need in your lunch break.

Mrs Bridges Tea Rooms is a little quaint tea room it does tea in a tea pot which is a good thing. The coffee is great but then again i am a coffee snob. They do fantastic cakes and a very lovely tea time menu for you to enjoy ranging from sandwiches to jacket potato’s to quiche. If you are a vegetarian then you will be pleasantly suprised as there range tends to be rather good. If you are opting for a drink and quick snack then i would recommend the cake platter, which is ideal for one sweet tooth lover or for two to share, you get a little slither of five cakes and there hand made ice cream, it is delightful. They also offer a catering service!
