Portpatrick Harbour

Stayed in a B&B but it isn't listed, it's called The Albany guest house. Rode here from Durham on a motercycle for the weekend. The B&B was 5 star & 3 star prices. Ther isn't many that you get flowers, chocolates & wine in the room when you arrive. I wish it was closer as I would be there alot more. Highly recomended by me atleast.

I haven’t sailed here but it’s a lovely place to walk or sit and watch the world go by! (Or, at least, the people and boats of Portpatrick.) There are many lovely scenic views from here too. This attractive place was originally used for the ferry crossings to Northern Ireland, though now they run from nearby Stranraer instead. There are various cafes, pubs and shops around this area and there are several places to park; we used the car park at the south end of the harbour next to the old lighthouse.
