Strood Yacht Club, Rochester

Strood Yacht Club is probably one of the best yacht clubs outside of London or The Solent. The well layed out pontoons are lined with all manner of craft, from luxury yachts to more humble river cruisers. This creates a great atmosphere in the swanky bar/restaurant with seafarers from all walks of life swapping stories and maintenance tips. Visitors are welcome and SYC often play host to members of other yacht clubs. Pontoons have 240v and are well lit. There is a professional lift out team that operate the crane and cradle should your boat need a scrub down or some tlc.
