This is an excellent hairdressers but very, very pricey.

I have to confess that’s it’s been a while since I was there last simply because after a 2-hour car journey to reach the salon (although I live 100 miles away, Inverness is my nearest large town)
I arrived in good time but was still sitting waiting for my hairdresser to turn up which he eventually did, some 45 minutes later.

He was an excellent hairdresser but on reflection, I think they might have offered me a discount for my lengthy wait!

I hope things have changed, but do keep an eye on the prices. There is a tariff of prices for the treatments available but somehow I always ended up paying more than I thought I would. For instance, if you are booked in for a colour and cut, you will find that you are also charged for the wash and blow-dry afterwards. This is fair enough but when I book at appointment for a colour & cut I would assume the price includes the wash and dry before and after - it’s not as if you have a choice!

That said, the stylists are usually excellent and you can be sure you will receive a really good hair 'experience’.

But if you’re watching the pennies in these credit-crunch times, be sure to find out exactly how much you’re likely to be charged!

This is really well run family business which does pretty much everything it can to offer a fantastic service to its clients.
The staff are extremely helpful and can’t do enough for you.
The salon is really clean and well laid out but its the little extras that they offer that really make your visit.
Things like the free head therapy (massage) that you get before your haircut is all part of the service; the music they play is just so appropriately relaxing for the place.
I always have Ralph as my stylist and his really relaxing and professional approach just lets you know that you are in the right hands. He really does strive to make sure he delivers on what you ask.
I have been to other gents salons in Inverness and would say this is the best. Although this is probably at the very top end of the pricing scale and you would expect great service, I would say it is well worth it. You are absolutely guaranteed absolute value for money and to be looked after.
