Review of Wyndham Berlin Excelsior from 17 February 2010

My family stayed but they found it to be a bit over-priced for the quality. Friendly staff and clean.
We all had breakfast there but found it to be expensive if one doesn't want to eat a huge breakfast buffet. A better priced place for brealfast is Hubert's restaurant, half a block back towards the main train station Zoo.

Review of Wyndham Berlin Excelsior from 31 January 2009

Unfortunately the rooms are a bit dark. Anything is being kept in rather dark colours. The room key is a practical card which always worked. Inside the room you'll find the obligatory TV (quite big), mini bar and wardrobe. The windows are extremely thick with is worth a lot in the middle of Berlin. Thus can sleep marvellously. Breakfast is simply superb and very copious (buffet form). W-Lan unfortunately not free but at a charge. The service was very nice... and my room even had a bathtub. Result: nice and very centrally located on top (near Bahnhof Zoo about 200m).
