Little Portland Cafe

This is my sausage and egg sarnie ‘go to’ when in need of some grease for breakfast. Good quality and big. Just what you need, when you need it.

I Went here for lunch today and i had the chilli con carne, as it looked very nice however as they say dont judge a book by its cover it was horrible if im honest,
The food was VERY Watery and tasteless, i will possibly go back and try something else.
However i have eaten here before and it was delicious !

There are not many times when you walk into a place for the first time and like the food, one of the best chicken and mushroom pasta I had in a really long time. It was finger licking delicious. It fills your stomach though makes you a little lazy as well ;), other stuff also looked tempting. This place is worth a lunch I believe.

Bacon and a soft egg on white toast, perfect start to the day and cheap as chips too.

None of this 'its after 11, we don't do breakfasts now' rubbish either. Second to none.

Oh yes.. i was lucky enough to get invited along to this little gem!! i couldn't wait to get my chops around a good old English breakfast and it didn't fail to satisfy!!

I used to work in the area and I always looked forward to Mondays because the chili con carne was on the specials board and that went very nicely with a jacket potato thank you very much.

Portion sizes are HUGE. Service from big greek Phil and the team is always exceptional - and they all remember you if you're a regular.

There's a huge choice of food and if you eat in you'll get a great breakfast or lunch.

Big Phil, I miss you. But I don't look like Princess Diana however much you keep calling me that.

The best breakfat in W1, any takers?

Why would you go to the chain on the corner and pay over a quid for two pieces of toast when you can walk 10 seconds down the road and get proper crusty white slabs of toasty goodness for around 80p?

Couple of those slathered in jam (or accompanying some freshly fried bacon), plus a milky, sugary coffee is the best hangover cure I know of.

They do good sandwiches here for takeaway, and if you want to sit down they have a pretty extensive menu as well that includes thngs like spag bol, english breakfast, baked potatoes etc etc.

A proper traditional west end cafe that does what it does very well.

The food is great, breakfast can only be a full English. For 3.50? Bargain of the century. Quality sausages, thick bacon and good tea.

Come for lunch, menu changing daily.

Breakfast and lunch for me. There food is all home cooking which i lover. The lunch portions are of a good size and leaves you full. The service is very quick and they are friendly.

this place is the only place to go for breakfast they do large and small i always go for small which includes 1 sausage 1 backon beans egg and the best toast in town with coffee £3.50 all good great service the lady in here is awsome 5 star for cheap price

Love the bacon sarnies here! The bacon fat is crispy!!! The bread is quality. A firm breakfast favourite here!

Mmm, nice bacon sandwiches, too strong tea. You don’t get the sheer quantity of bacon that we are used to from breakfasting at Fiori (when our office was in Leicester Square), but the bread options are nicer here. So, probably good for my new slimline bacon and egg diet…
