Ellerthwaite Lodge Hotel

A very very relaxed atmosphere. The room was superb and the staff very friendly. the coffee bar was a great place to hang out on the odd rainy day of our trip. It's close to the shops on Windermere, but you need a good walk to get to the lake. I am staying here again when I'm in Windermere I've tried a few B&B's and this is the best one by miles

I am writing this review actually in my bed in the hotel! What a loveley room an the staff could not be friendlier. The breakfasts are delicious and the small bar/coffe shop is very cosy. The hotel is located approx 1 and a half miles from the lake but there are plenty of shops, bars and good restaurants nearby.
