The only thing that lets this place down is the rude customer service. It has been a while since I experienced such awful customer service.
Apart from mumble-ling and making no eye contact. She was on the mobile phone talking whilst trying to deal with me.
I would have walked out if I was not ordering for someone else as well.

Ossie's is one of two Caribbean takeaways within a short stretch of the Walworth Road.
I have visited a number of times, and while it never seems busy there is a steady stream of customers through the door.
Food is the usual Carribean fare - jerked meats, curries and patties, served with rice n pea. The jerk sauce is fiery, the curries are tasty and the service is fun and lively.
One word of caution (and it may be me being a cheapskate) is that prices are relatively high for a takeaway. Typical prices are around £5.50 for a meal, although there is a good value deal of the day and bargainous lunchtime specials to be had.
