Absolutely amazing place to shop, you most definitely won’t be let down for choice! Plenty of shops and all in the one place. You’ll be spoilt for choice with where to eat, as there are so many different restaurants to choose from such as mcdonalds, kfc, pizza hut, frankie&bennies, chinese ones, even french!etc. The onvly bad things is sometimes its so packed there’s no where to sit and eat your food. So you have to stand until theres a vacancy. Some of the prices tend to be a little higher than the same stores elsewhere. Also it’s such a huge place that you’ll have no choice but to sit down a few times as your feet will be in so much pain from all the walking and it’s very easy to get lost. But i do highly recommend shopping there.

MEADOWHALL SHOPPING CENTRE just off the M1 Motorway at Tinsley, Sheffield.
I dare say "Meadowhall" is now World Famous because people from all over the world have passed through it's many entrances at some time or other since it was first opened to the public way back in the early 1990s.
Meadowhall is huge, it consists of lanes and down both sides of each lane there's shops galore. There's a ground floor and a first floor reached by numerous escalators.
If you're feeling hungry there's a huge circular eating area called the Oasis that consists of many different kinds of restaurants serving different menus from all over the world. On the first floor above the Oasis there's a multi screen cinema complex showing all the latest block-buster movies.
I've described Meadowhall has huge, I'm lost for words of how to describe it's car park outside because in area coverage the shopping centre is no match.
I like Meadowhall because it's easy to reach by road and railway. Once inside you're free to shop at your own pace and there's no fear of being run over by any traffic because there isn't any.
The two things I dislike about Meadowhall is; (1) the heating system, it's never switched off and so the indoor heat becomes overpowering. (2) It's very expensive.

Meadowhall is a huge shopping centre, I believe it is the Largest in Yorkshire. The car park is huge we could have done with a map to get out. Parking is free though. Meadowhall has such a huge selection of shops to suit every budget there is a total of 280 I'm sure if you get around them all in day. Its best to pick up a map to guide you through the centre. There budget shops like poundland and primark as well as designer store such as Karen Miller. There plently of places to buy refreshment too. The centre is always beautifully decorated around christmas and worth a visit just to see all the lovely lights.

Meadowhall is absolutely huge and has a series of car parks to suit(free to park). Catering for pretty much anything you will need: electronics, hobbies, child care, etc, although the majority of stores within the shopping centre are fashion orientated. Meadowhall does have a very popular cinema which is handy if you fancy a film while you shop, and if its food you want, the Oasis can provide just about any fast food restaurant you can think of, conveniently placed around a massive seating area. If you don’t fancy driving, Meadowhall has its very own Bus, Train and Tram station with services running often and reasonably on time.

Meadowhall is often considered second to the Trafford Center, but that shouldn’t stop you from visiting as it has plenty to offer.
Ample parking means you won’t be driving around for hours looking for a space, and good opening hours which are extended at peak times offer the flexibility to shop when it suits.
There is a large range of shops as you’d expect, and also a massive food hall with plenty of options should you require refreshment.
There is also a cinema, although let’s face it, you’re here to shop, not watch a movie!

There’s not much you wont find in Meadowhall, but make sure you go there when wearing comfy shoes and holding a full purse/wallet - you will almost definitely buy something you don’t need.
Choice of food is varied, but quality is sometimes lacking in the busier restaurants.
Free Parking is of course a bonus.

Meadowhall Shopping Centre has a great range of shops and restaurants to visit. But the first time you go, you may get lost (I did) but there are stacks of help to tell you where you need to be. Meadowhall Shopping Centre is known to provide excellent service is nearly every shop. Whoever you are I can pretty much guarentee that there will be at least one shop which you will never want to leave!

I often get lost here it’s so big, but plenty of maps to help you out! Great food court with lots of choices to eat and a really nice cinema!
Lots of nice shops to choose from some boutiques in the lanes area, but lots of well known brands also!

Free parking, large department stores, food hall - everything you could possibly want from a shopping centre. It’s a lot like The Trafford Centre in Manchester only it’s the original. All the usual shops you would expect; Top Shop, Marks and Spencers, Debenhams, Next etc.

Meadowhall has plenty to offer under one roof. Shops of which most are 'flagship’ so offer more stock than town centre shops, small boutiques in 'The Lanes’ for something different, cinema, kids play area, the Food Court and Free Parking.
Excellent access by road, rail or bus having it’s own travel centre helps and always lots of people around to help with bus/train times.
Meadowhall is clean and well presented with lots of toilets including baby change and disabled access toilets as well.
Weekends are often very busy and it’s manic at Christmas (but we expect that anyway)
Plenty of Mother and Children parking as well as disabled and they have also introduced a Car Valeting service as well which is great (shop whilst the car is being cleaned).

This place is crazy big with everything you think of. You have to plan with a map before going so you don’t have to go back into one of the fingers. You have to make specific effort to get here but once you are it is a day trip! If you have money to spend it is definitely a place to do it. Not been here in a couple of years so it might have slipped.

A huge place with lots to offer. Free parking which is always a bonus. Apart from the shops there is a cinema and food court, there are plenty of restaurants and fast food places to choose from, something to suit all tastes.
There is a good variety of shops although it is not as good as the trafford centre in manchester which is a shame, but the potential is there.
For visitors who dont drive there is a bus station, train and tram stop so its easy to get to for everyone
