Mountain View is a good local Indian restaurant, and certainly one the best in Blackheath Village.

The quality of the food was very good, and the portion sizes were generous. They had a lot of less common Indian dishes, such as Tandoori Salmon, as well as the usual selection of curries. I was also impressed with the size and selection of their bar, which included many South African wines I don't usually see in London.

On the Friday evening we visited, service was quite slow, but that may have been due to a lack of staff as there was a lot of weather related transport disruption. They made up for it with a free drink, so we didn't mind.

I'll definately be visiting again and want to try out some of the chef's own creations.

I had a very nice birthday dinner at branch in chislehurst. Nicely decorated, excellent dinner, great ambience, and cake to top it all! Thank you for a wonderful nite!

Four of us had a booking at 7.30 pm on a Friday night. Our food arrived at 9.00 after we had complained. We asked for the bill twice and eventually just walked to the door to pay. We all ordered different dishes but they all looked the same!

Quite simply THE best Indian in SE3! I’ve eaten here countless times since opening and the food and service get better each time. The owner Rom is always there to warmly welcome you in and to your table, and is more than happy to suggest new dishes to try if you need some help. The entire staff are very competent and you always feel looked after during your meal. Food is of the highest order and quality, and prices totally reasonable.

Worth booking at weekends as most locals now acknowledge that this place serves up the best grub in town. However take aways can be delivered to your door if you don’t fancy going out.

Brilliant service - they really know how to treat a lady like a lady! Good food though no better than other indian restaurants, but the service really did it for me. Busy at weekends due to its location in Blackheath village so best to book, but often quiet at other times of the week. Near to the station and a short walk from the 'heath - a perfect end to a relaxing day!
