Wrap it like a spring roll and to serve it with Thai sauce. 1 tbs of satay sauce + 1 tbs of hoi sin BBQ sauce + 1 tbs of fish sauce and 1 tbs of sesame oil, healthy and delicious!

This is a great little shop. You can find a fine selection of asian products, plus the invaluable help of Lai, who will give you her tips in choosing the right ingredients and explain to you her secret recipe.
I really love this shop, and every time i take a bus that pass through catford I always make a stop to buy something.

This is a great supermarket, you will find everything to prepare you Chinese or japanese dishes, prices are fair, and the most important, the lady who runs the business is lovely, she took the time to explain the recipes, the ingredients, etc. I'll be coming back for sure.

This is a fantast little shop , it is like a peice of china Town in catford.
Lai is the most lovely and friendly person you could have and her advice and enthusiasm for the products was fantastic.
The shop has all you need to cook great authentic food and also cool sweet treats to make the kids happy.
I will be back with my car to do a great big shop and hope to get some tips on cooking yummy food.

FLK Chinese is in very good location, as I use Catford Bridge station, I can pick everything I need after work without any diversion. The store itself is small but has everything I need, very clean and laid out where you can find things easily. The lady who works there is very friendly, approachable, and always has lots of great tips. She recently gave me great advice to stop the tofu from breaking apart when frying. This was ok for myself but as I was cooking for a colleagues leaving lunch I wanted to make sure it was perfect. Following her advice, I ended up with best fried tofu I've ever prepared. Thank very much for that much need advice. I would recommend anyone pasding by to drop by. AB.

FLk Chinese Groceries is a great place for anyone looking for a vast range of good quality Chinese, Korean and Japanese cuisine. I have been going there since it first opened because of the excellence customer service and interesting products. The owner is very friendly and always ready to give you advise on ingredients and recipes. The shop is bright and inviting and there are always new products to try. Also the yellow shop front helps brighten up the high street and makes them impossible to miss. I would recommend them to everyone.

For starters, Staff at this chinese supermarket, I can not stress are incredibly helpful and polite. The store is very clean and products are well organised and pricing is clearly displayed in english. I live in bromley, and usually trek into china town when I feel the urge to rustle up an oriental meal. The fact that this asian supermarket is literally on my doorstep is great. With a extensive range of oriental products including fresh chinese bak choi and my favorites korean kimchi and Strawberry POCKY - I will return and get some additional cooking tips and such from their knowledgable staff. 10 out 10

In a totally convenient location is this small Chinese grocery shop. It's very clean, newly refurbished with a wide variety of interesting oriental and food looks Korean, Japanese and Chinese. There is frozen and fridge section which hosts a variety of fresh, green vegetables. Dumplings and more a must visit shop, almost in the heart of Catford, and the staff, brilliant, knowledgeable, and helpful.

A great place for newbies to Japanese and Korean foods, and experienced foodies alike. This oriental supermarket in south east london is a great find, and i have been a regular for 2 years, so yes, this review is a bit delayed !
Its very rare for an Oriental supermarket to have such a flexible range of products catering for Korean, japanese , chinese , thai dishes. Clearly, the staff are very knowledgeable in all types of oriental cuisine, and i was impressed by the foodie knowledge of the main lady there.
I find myself a bit lost in other oriental / Chinese / Japanese supermarkets in Chinatown and big superstores. I find that the staff in other places tend to be unhelpful, and i need additional information as product information often seems to be translated badly in English. Every time i come to this shop, i get valuable advice on all the products I'm using, so I'm not wasting money on something i bought on a nervous whim!

Probably the best Chinese Supermarket in SE London - I can't believe I have lived down the street from this little gem for months and have never gone! I was trekking all over Chinatown in search for things that I could get back home, but this store had just about everything and it was just a 5 minute walk! The lady who run the store is super friendly. They stock everything that a oriental kitchen would need. I was in search of the silver package Tom Yum Mama noodles I lived off of these noodles in college and they are my absolute favorite ramen. So happy that I found them here! And I can't resist their freshly baked char sui bun that they sell on Saturday from 12pm onward. Make sure you to turn up early though they sell out very quickly.

the first time i stoped at the store was for direction. the owner was so nice to show me the road. then, while my staying in this area, i like to stop by to shop something, snack or ingredients for cooking. she is always nice and polite and helpful. this is the best chinese supermarket in uk,comparing to others in different cities.

After trying a Thai Summer Roll dish at restaurant in SW London, and being fan of Asian cooking, I decided to seek out the ingredients today. I’m glad that I followed recommendations of fellow patrons of this shop and would say this place is a must for any westerner interested in cooking Oriental food. The chinese lady in the store), is polite and knowledgeable and willing to take the time to advise on any particular oriental dish + its health benefits and was able provide all the ingredients I required on my list. (She speaks perfect English, sorry, but I have to mention this, I’ve been to so many oriental stores around london and found this not to be the norm and in many other places staff can be total clueless about products and rude.) The professional service I received here, I can confidently say you wouldn’t get from the larger oriental supermarkets and the pricing is comparable, if not cheaper on some items. Despite it size, the shop has a wide range of products from all over the far-East and it is clean and well organized. I’m not one to follow the crowd, but have to agree with other postings. This store is truly a oriental specialist- in every sense. I live in Beckenham and will consider this to be my local Chinese supermarket from now on. 10 stars.

This small, but well stocked, oriental supermarket carries Tofu, mochi and kimchi and If you’re after frozen Japanese foods like gyoza, a package of Pocky, or shichimi for your ramen you can find them here. A lot of Korean food stuff as well. And I haven’t began to list there Chinese, Thai and vietnamese product range. But the best thing about this place is the owner, she is so nice and the shop is clean and well organised. Perfect for picking up those essential oriental ingredients. :) Two review pages? so I have posted twice

Reasonable prices.
Friendly and knowledgeable service.
I first entered a year ago, looking for tofu.
Now I am enjoying a slow tour of the stocks and pastes for soups and stir fry.
It's miso this week.
I highly recommend you try FLK.

I really like this Oriental Shop. I find the Larger Chinese Supermarkets, too crowded to shop comfortably at, FLK has most of the same products and they are usually a less expensive. They also have a fair amount of Japanese, Korean and Chinese products. They are particularly good if you are looking for ingredients for making your own food, The nice chinese lady is always on hand to provide cooking tips, so you won’t feel like a prat, when asking what do you use this for ? (quick word of advice, when she give you a cooking tip, do follow it! I learnt this at my own cost when preparing a romantic dinner for two on valentines.I did redem myself by following the good advice provided for the beef sukiyaki stir-fry with noodle I made).Since moving to sydendam 6 month ago, this has become the place for me to pick up my Japanese or chinese sauces, udon and perhaps grab a seaweed snack and a Kirin Beer to go.

Went to FLK in the hope that they would have the things I needed for the Korean dish I was cooking. Was pleasantly surprised at the range of Korean stuff available and the shop owner was very helpful and friendly!

Thanks for the posting anna. Check out the shop on saturday. This place is great. Made a fantastic thai green curry for me and my mates after following that lady’s helpful instructions,(I thinks she is the owner), anyhow food went down a treat allong with a few bottles of thai beer. well worth the visit.

Finally a local Oriental Foods Specialist Store. Staff are helpful and definitely know their products and are always willing to provide cooking tips and advise, unlike some stores I have been. Products are well priced, and as others have commented, despite the size of the shop they do seem to have everything! A really massive selection of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai and Vietnamese Foods and Drinks. They also have sizable Gluten-Free range, which was of particular interest to me. I will definitely be a regular at this store!
