I remain unconvinced by this venue as I think it has failed to live up to the hype. Perhaps the 2 times I have visited have been bad ones, but I found the portions small, the burgers mediochre and the experience wanting.

Recently I was dragged to the Hamburger Union in Soho by a friend who promised a quality meal. to be honest I was somewhat skeptical, mainly do to the fact that I am a vegetarian and was not holding out for much hope of a juicy veggie burger to hit the spot.

Luckily I was pleasantly surprised with the results and left the restaurantsfeeling full and satisfied. I cant comment on the quality of the beef in the burgers and no doubt if your thinking of visiting this establishment then that’s what you want to here about, but I can tell you the veggie burger was top notch, with fresh lettuce and tomatoes and a lovely chutney sauce on the side.

The chips were chunky and well cooked, although the portion was small, they were filling non the less. I will definitely be visiting Hamburger Union again soon and would recommend you do the same.

A meal for one with soft drink comes to roughly 7 pound but is well worth it.

As I know how eat american..as I know how good they are in hamburger cooking..as I know how big portions they eat...I can recommend you this place.

This restaurant looks American, and the food tastes American..portions are huge, and for a relative good price.

You have a jug of tap water as in New York.

After order and pay, take a seat and wait for your food..
When you are ready to eat, just enjoy..take your time, take advantage of the place and ambiance.

There are more than one Hamburger Union in London, but menu still purposes the same products.

If you're in the mood for a real good classic hamburger, this is the place! Would also reconmend the chocolate shake to go with it as well. Prices are good and fair. Crowd is varied, but nice... good level of service, maybe a little bit over the top (they asked us 3 times how the food was), but you never get that in London... so I guess it's appreciated!
