Lovely clinic. I was made to feel so welcome and the therapist doing my laser treatment put me at ease straight away. Brilliant! I’ve had a facial there too and I’m definitely going back because they use Environ which is the best.

Really surprised by the comments here. They all seem to good to be true. I had a similar experience to charlie, made an appointment for a 20 minute massage (they had those big red posters outside). When I showed up, I was told there isn’t anyone who could do the treatment! They could have called at least! I went up to Nailsuite and they actually offered me the same deal.
The service is now way worse than it used to be, the lady that runs has her nose up in the sky and has no idea what proper customer service is. The lovely girl that used to do hair in old Vervena is now working in Holistic Hair and Beauty I highly recommend her.

My sincere apologies for your bad experience with us. We had staff on a sick leave in January and as we are a small clinic it unforunately meant we had no reception staff.

I made an appointment for hair colour and was told that if the time didn’t work, the salon would contact me. I turned up for my appointment and the door was locked and no one answered the phone so I left a message. No one has gotten in touch with me to apologise. Really annoyed. Awful customer service.

Vervena no longer provides Hairdressing services at West Hampstead, since Spring 2011, we are sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
The salon has recently changed hands and is now run by Monique Jansen who has an excellent reputation, look at the great comments below.
I’ve just had some lasering done at Vervena – on my legs and in another place :-O and I LOVE this salon!! The treatment rooms are so comfortable and the staff can’t do enough to make you feel relaxed. I highly recommend this salon to anyone considering laser therapy.

I had a treatment of laser hair removal with the Soprano laser at Vervena and I am extremely satisfied with it. The reviews say the machine is virtually pain free, for me it was completely pain free and the results are fantastic. The staff is extremely kind, they make you feel valued and important. Monique in particular, who did my treatments, is very professional and made me feel very comfortable. She was very clear in explaining the whole process at the beginning, and very helpful throughout each session. Very well recommended

I had 3 laser treatments with Monique at West Hampstead and I’m very happy with the results.
Monique is very understanding and put me at ease. Not easy considering I’m having a full bikini done. The treatment didn’t hurt at all and results are great.
I’m now starting a course of accent radiofrequency too.

The woman who is treating me is lovely, made me feel comfortable which is important considering you're stripping down to your underwear. They have some decent package deals - AND - it works!! My hair's not coming back!! This, after only 3treatments. It's doesn't hurt nearly as much as others I've tried either. Big thumbs up.

I recently purchased a deal for laser hair removal through Groupon. I phoned up several times and was unable to book an appointment - they kept giving me a mobile number to call instead. I thought it seemed dodgy. I finally insisted on booking via the salon number. Several confused messages were left on my answer phone changing the time of the consultation. I drove all the way there for the appointment only to be fobbed off with excuses about the machine being broken and told that they had withdrawn the offer. Nobody had at any point told me this. A total waste of time and effort. Poorest customer service I have experienced in a long time. BEWARE.

We are very sorry that you have had difficulties with contacting Monique (was on holiday at the time) unfortunately the contract between Vervena and GroupOn was cancelled due to contractual differences.
As the offer contracts were between GroupOn and the Client we were not in a position to contact individual clients.

I’ve been here a few times since I moved to London and was very wary about any new hairdressers because I’d had the same one for years and she always did a good job. I went here a couple of times and it was fine - not as good as my previous stylist but acceptable. Anyway, I’m now living in a different part of London but made the journey back to this salon because I knew it. Having decided to take my hair a little shorter I asked for a layered bob. The stylist I’d had the last couple of visits cut my hair, barely layered it and when i got home and checked it, it wasn’t even even! I also had one tiny section of hair at the back that was longer than the rest. I’ve not had such a bad haircut in a LONG time and I’m very disappointed since I’d only had good experiences here before. I know I should go back and let them sort it out etc etc but I don’t trust them anymore. I’m heading to another salon today to let them tidy it up (obviously costing me more money!)
