Review of cupcake emporium from 12 October 2009

A welcome addition to the local lunch options, the Cupcake Emporium is an adorable place that serves all things good in life: cookies, gingerbread, milkshakes, cakes, and even cakes in the form of a cup (surprise!) that only have about 130 calories each. The good news for me is that they also happen to serve toasted sandwiches at a much more reasonable price than their cupcukes (almost 3 quid each!) so I'm not tempted to have a cupcake for lunch every day.

To top it off, they also offer free wifi. Sugar lovers: you may just have to spend a day here and swim in its wonderfulness.

OMG all I have to say is that this place has a chocolate orange cupcake and it tastes exactly like terry’s chocolate orange. I am a huge fan and I found their website the other day so went in to get some and ended up getting a box of 12 cupcakes and proceeded to munch on them for the following few days, would definitely go back.

What a gem of a cafe!

These cakes are to die for - I am now aiming to work my way through them alphabetically, then in colour coding and then in any other order I can think of!

As a half italian I was cheerfully suprised to find the coffee was more than passable!, the staff were cheerful, friendly and more importantly than that observant and informative! (yes we did find the park in the end! lol)

My children adored it, we arrived stressed out and mardy and left restored and cheerful!

I would highly reccomend it to any parent (but be warned it is small so dinky prams only!) I loved the intimacy of the place and will definately be returning again…

Don’t just walk to this one - run!! (it’ll help with the guilt of how much you are bound to consume!!)

Review of cupcake emporium from 6 March 2009

This cupcake shop, a couple of minutes walk from Lancaster Gate is a real find. Very friendly helpful staff, funky decor and above all superb cupcakes. On recommendation I tried to Red Velvet and it was good! A real layer of cream cheese and a very satisfying cupcake. I went here alone and was left to my own devices until I wanted some conversation and then the waiters were chatty and friendly. The take away boxe (I took some home for my family) went down very well too with almost arguments starting over the lemon dream and the double chocolate. A welcome addition to the area.

Oh my god! you need to go to this place, I discovered in when i got lost coming out of the park.

It is this cute little cupcake cafe and it is all in 1950’s style, even the waiter was dressed in 50’s gear.

they do the usual selections of coffee’s and also a few new ones, like the frozen cappucino, which I had and it turned out to be great, my bf had the strawberry milkshake and fell in love with it.

They also do a big selection of cupcakes and even though I can’t remember them all I had the very strawberry and my boyfriend had the red velvet. They were great, I even stole some of his to try.

I know they do more but can’t remember them all. I think they have it on their website, which i can’t remember but do a online search I am sure you will find it.

I am so going back again they also have free Wi-Fi.

the only kind bad thing is that its quite small I think they only had 6 tables of 4 but hey as my mum always told me god things come in small packages.

I would recomend this fully.
