This may be my new favourite posh restaurant in Berlin. I love the interior design, it's modern, atmospheric not stuffy at all.
The staff was fabulous, very helpful, very friendly.
Enjoyed the food a lot, although I thought the sweet amuse bouche at the end were a bit lacklustre.
This is a new elegant restaurant by Daniel Achilles, former sous chef at the Schlosshotel. We arrived on a Monday evening where the place was pretty quiet and hence the service was impeccable. The ambience is quiet contemporary chic and is an ideal place for a party or a romantic chitchat.
There were a few rounds of quite fantastic amuse bouche, and this helped us to really relax. The main courses are quite tolerable although I was surprised at the use of pangasius or possibly frozen fish in one of the dishes. Overall, the cooking is really fine and the lamb was really quite delicious. The wine list is purely German and Spanish but quite good nevertheless.
The afters were also quite original and nice. All in all, it was a pretty good night out in a nice restaurant with really faultless service. Actually, it was also not too expensive for the quality of dining, and the only mild let-down was the questionable quality of one or two little ingredients.
