Well what a terrible place to eat. We had booke a table of 3 people 2 weeks ago for last night to celebrtate our daughters O Level results, we thought that with the place always being busy with takeaways we would try a meal there. All 3 of us were taken to our table, not a good evening or thank you for coming, sat down and then deserted, we had to ask for menus, drinks etc, the waiters kept brushing past us all the time, when the order was taken it took ages for us to get the food, portions were small and luke warm, onion bhajis were really small , pakoras were again small and luke warm, the main courses were again poor value, with the dishes tasting bland and watery, naan bread was burnt, and the rice was cold and hard, we shall not ever step foot again into this place as it spoilt our night out. We heard that there was a party of 30 people booked in for later that night so they would have been more interested in sorting them out rather than 3 people. If i was the manager of the Bengal Dynasty i would take a look at my self and think should i be running a place like this as i don`t give a damn about customer service,

Rang at 5.15 on the saturday night asking if they had any tables free tonight, they said (after a long delay) they could squeeze us in at 7pm. Myself and my wife arrived at 6.50 and were promptly "dragged" to our table the waiter even knocking over a load of knifes, forks and menus on the way. We sat down and that was it, after 25 minutes no one had bothered to ask if we wanted a drink or take our order. I caught the waiters attention who must have been on work experience and made Manuel from Fawlty Towers look professional. He managed to take our drinks order and he said "are you ready to order?" is said "yes" and he went to get his order pad and we never saw him again. At 7.40 we left our table, paid for our drinks and left the building, with someone behind the counter saying "what is wrong?"
Never have we been made to feel more uncomfortable in our lives, diabolical, slow unprofessional service, staff members who don`t care about customer service or courtesy. There were 3 people sat beside us and they were complaining that the starters they recieived were cold. Would not recommend this place at all.

An excellent meal, with excellent service. It’s often booked at key times so best to bok in advance, although often they’ll fit you in if you’re willing to pop over the road for a drink for an hour. Glad to have such a great place locally. Food and service hard to beat.

What A Shame.
We visited the Bengal Dynasty last week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was good and the service excellent and we especially enjoyed the joke of being told they were fully booked when entering an empty restaurant.
This week we returned and what a difference. We were shown to a table within touching distance of the only other four people in the place. When we asked to be seated elsewhere we were told, rather abruptly, that they WERE fully booked. On a Tuesday eveing at 6.15pm?. I don't think so. We left and will not return.

Excellent Indian restaurant who don't loose sight of the detail. The range of dishes is extensive, the prices very good and the decor is tasteful and uncliched. A must. The best Indian in Lincolnshire.
