What a great little pub. Nice staff, good selection of beer. Nice and quiet. I love a pub that gets all the Sunday papers and puts them out for their guests. We had a superb Sunday roast here, good pork, excellent Yorkshire pudding, vegetables, etc. All for under £8.
A nice little pub sandwiched between Cowley road and Iffley road. This is a place you will discover in your second year and you'll wonder why you wasted so much time in bars in and around Headington when you could have been sat in the Oxford Blue. Really nice food and quiet enough to get a table during the day. Decent selection of ales and friendly staff. Popular with Oxford Uni students.

Stumbled upon this pub looking for a drink before an Oxford University rugby fixture at Iffley road. I was pleasantly suprised by my experience with a really friendly atmosphere. The food was particually good (Spicy Lamb Burger) and with three real ales on offer to wash down the food, I was in heaven. It has a real "traditional feel" with various signed rugby jerseys, rowing oars and other artefacts. It is also a perfect place to watch sport on TV with comfortable couches and a guaranteed atmosphere. In the summer it has a cheeky beer garden tucked away at the rear of the pub. A real Oxford experience!

I stumbled upon this pub entirely by chance. It was cold, rainy and i wanted to find a pub to watch the 6 Nations rugby. While wondering down a side street, i spotted a pub sign and thought id stick my head in. little did i know that an extremely popular Oxford varsity sports pub was waiting for me. With comfy leather couches and large tv screens scattered around the places, the 'blue' made for a great places to get in out of the cold, have a Sunday roast and watch the rugby. My only criticism is that it seems a trifle much to be paying £10 for a Sunday roast.
